Im in WI and a Packer fan. The story has always been the parents and two brothers and probably other family members wanting a cut of his money. So its not that original of a story. Its weird because parents and brothers will show up to games in full Packers gear and you think its all good between them now. But then a brother fires off a tweet like that? I dont get it either.

I'm just old enough to agree that these things ought to be handled in person/private. I've never really understood the whole Twitter/Facebook publicizing your life deal, but it's really none of my business what other people do. Still, Rodgers is scoring himself PR points this way, and I honestly can't criticize his brother for pointing out the hypocrisy on the same platform. I doubt the donations will suddenly trickle off just because Rodgers is called out for being a hypocrite. If anything, this puts a human face on the fact that there were real people, real parents and kids and red-headed bastard stepchildren involved, and real emotions to go with it.
