“For Love of the Money” How NIL ruined college athletics and forever tainted the authenticity which made it special. A 30for30 films production.

Glad to see these kids get some money! The coaches are millionaires the athletic departments make millions and now if your good enough to fill up the seats you should get paid too. Thank god Mason Smith has some pocket change!

The only thing that matters in the entire article is the word Valuation. This is only one website's estimate at what the players MAY be worth.

Absolutely ridiculous! No way should this be possible for these players to get this kind of money. That’s more than their position coaches make. NCAA needs to correct this with a cap that prevents boosters from stealing a recruit. With NIL money, no reason for a player to leave early to opt out playing their Jr.and Sr. Years. Needs to be corrected and fast.

Pretty funny that a freshman who hasn’t played a single snap in college yet could make more than the reigning Heisman trophy winner lol

A true freshman backup (possible 3rd string) is worth more than a returning Heisman winner projected to go #1 in the draft?
