Michael Jordan entered a prenuptial agreement with his current wife Yvettte Prietto that guarantees her a significant payout in the event of a divorce...
quote:

Under the agreement, Prieto will receive $1 million for each year of marriage if the couple decides to part ways. If their marriage lasts beyond 10 years, she will be entitled to a substantial sum of $5 million per year.

Pocket change for MJ. He made 250 million last year just from shoes.

How about: you leave with what you came here with and be thankful you met and got to hang around me for however long the love drug keeps running thru my brain?

This is crazy how society works today. She literally gets paid just because she was his wife? Why would Michael agree to this out of principle? Not like losing a mil a year hurts him, but out of principal... feels way more like a business transaction than an actual mairrage

Friend of mine on the east coast owns a party company who did MJ's party. She said that most of their parties are in the $400K-$1M range and most of the celebs run it through their foundation so they can write it off.

I’d like to see what’s in the prenup regarding what she has to deliver, recalling that MJ enjoyed scoring threes and finishing at the rim.

dont forget she will also share the money he receives while married. that will dwarf the money mentioned here.

Is that what works for a prenup? So if you marry a family rich girl, that then becomes a housewife after mairrage and makes $0 a year, you then divorce, you'd get nothing? For both ways whether guy or girl?

Smart. But I don't think she ever figured out that Jordan would gamble his life savings away.

They've already been married 10 years. I wonder if she has to give back the bolt ons if they divorce?

Not bad for the woman who basically just has to stay looking decent.

Considering how much he's worth, that's not a bad price to pay for a wife.

Sounds fair to me, and if she's a great wife, he'll put her in his will for a lot more...

Women are the scourge of American society. It’s no wonder birth rates are down - to what normal guy would want to deal with this?

So if she makes it 12 years she’d leave with 20 mil…… not bad

Show your math on this one.

They made it to 10 years over the summer so she's on the payroll at $5 million per year of marriage at this point. She get's $50 million if they divorce tomorrow. Another $10 million if she gets to 12 years.

Hold up there Einstein if they just made 10 years (which i didn’t know as I don’t keep up with MJ’s poon) so that’s 10 mil baw (she only gets 1 mil per year for the first 10 which obviously comes to 10 mil) you should check yours. If she rolled another 12 she would receive 70 mil (10 mil for first 5 @ 1X10=10) and (60 mil for the next 12 @ 5X12=60). So you need to pay more attention in algebra class ole baw!!!!!!!!!

Yall on different lines of thinking. Yat assumes she gets $5 per year for the original 10 years if she makes it that far. Tommy assumes it's $1 per year for 10 years and $5 per year afterwards. Not sure if it's clear either way
