LSU sophomore tight end Ka'Morreun Pimpton has reportedly entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal.
The 6-6, 242-pound tight end would have been in line for more playing time next year with Mason Taylor off to the NFL Draft.
Pimpton, a former four-star recruit from Fort Worth, Texas, played in 11 games this season, catching six passes for 79 yards. He played in eight games during his true freshman season in 2023.
Pimpton's departure means that all three tight ends who signed with LSU in 2023 have transferred out of the program. Mac Markway is now at Nebraska and Jackson McGohan is at Wisconsin.
LSU has two tight ends on the roster heading into next season: freshman Trey’Dez Green and four-star signee JD LaFleur.
