The Gainesville Sun-USA TODAY NETWORK
In a recent interview with ESPN, Florida defender Marco Wilson was asked about the end of the LSU game last season when he was flagged for an unsportsmanlike penalty for throwing Cole Taylors shoe.

The penalty allowed LSU to go on and kick a game-winning 57-yard field goal by Cade York.
quote:

"In that type of energy, what did people expect?" Wilson said. "Like I was going to hand it back nicely to him? I was super excited and I threw it. I didn't purposely do it; it was just a reaction. It went pretty far. I mean, I didn't think it would go that far. But it did."

He didn’t purposely do it. It was just a reaction... he cannot control his reactions. LOL. Man, just say you screwed up and shouldn’t have done it and move on. Take ownership and say you learned your lesson or whatever, but don’t blow smoke.

So you can’t control your emotions in a big game? Exactly what NFL teams want to hear....

Comparable to the player for the Cowboys saying that players take plays off.

“What did you expect?” Lol. I would expect someone not to frick with it if it’s not their shoe.

I’m sure every NFL exec is dumbfounded by his “explanation”. Does this kid not have anyone with an ounce of wisdom in his life?

Thanks for being so stupid Marco. Your team really appreciated your idiocy. You coach in the post game interview pretending to not realize that was a penalty might be dumber than you are.
