Ed Orgeron's proposed contract extension that would pay him $4 million a year (a 14 percent increase) with $400,000 in added incentives is on the agenda for the LSU Board of Supervisors meeting this Wednesday (March 20).
Orgeron currently makes $3.5 million a year. Per NOLA.com:

Orgeron’s buyout would increase to $10 million, with the amount decreasing $250,000 each month through March 2021. After March 2021, the buyout would remain $4 million for the rest of the contract.
