Former Tigers Luis Hernandez and Jared Jones sent the following 'Thank You' messages to LSU Baseball this weekend:

Luis Hernandez:
quote:

Growing up in Puerto Rico, it was always a dream of mine to play for LSU. Wearing the purple and gold has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

To my family, thank you for your constant support and sacrifices. You've been with me every step of the way, and I couldn't have done this without your love and encouragement.
To Coach Johnson and the entire LSU coaching staff, thank you for believing in me and helping me become a better player and person. You gave me the opportunity to grow, compete at the highest level, and live out a lifelong dream.

To my teammates, thank you for the memories and the brotherhood. I'll never forget what we built and accomplished together.

And to the fans, thank you for embracing me and making Baton Rouge feel like home. The energy, the passion, and the love for this program are unmatched. LSU will always be a part of me.

I'm excited to begin the next chapter of my journey with the Minnesota Twins.
Geaux Tigers and Geaux Twins!

LUIS HERNANDEZ

Jared Jones:
quote:

First off, I want to start by thanking God. Every good and perfect gift is from You and without Your blessings none of this would've been possible.

The past three seasons at LSU have been nothing short of fulfilling. From my first game at Alex Box all the way down to the final out in Omaha, this program has meant so much to me. I will not soon forget the moments and memories we shared together along the journey and could not be more grateful for my time spent here.

To my mom and dad, thank you. Thank you for the time and money spent following me around to watch me live out my dreams.

To my family. I couldn't ask for a better support system. Thank you for always supporting, loving, and, in most cases, humbling me.

To the entire LSU coaching staff. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of the LSU program and for shaping me into the person and player I am today.
To all my teammates, thank you. I will always cherish the bus rides, rain delays, steak dinners, and the Sunday Fundays.

To the fans. Thank you for packing The Box and making these last three seasons so special.

Thank you to the community of Baton Rouge and the state of Louisiana; this place has become a second home for me.

Forever LSU

JARED JONES

They are not former Tigers. They are former Tiger baseball players. They’ll always be LSU Tigers.

Two more class young men, class coach and class program. Testament to how CJJ conducts himself, expects his players to conduct themselves and the type young men he recruits.

Thank you Luis "Papi" Hernandez and Jared "Bear" Jones for all you did and especially how you have represented this program, the coaches, the fans and yourselves. Best of luck as you continue to follow your dreams.

Great Tigers! Excellent young men! Having a reliable solid catcher is always overlooked in a championship season. And the Bear has been great to watch from Day 1.

"Growing up in Puerto Rico, it was always a dream of mine to play for LSU." -- this struck me as hilarious sounding.

Jones is such a miserable piece of shite. He can't help himself but make such evil & dumbass political and religious comments. His support of genocide upon innocent citizens and children in the name of some imaginary 'God' should justifiably prevent his professional career from ever taking off. What a jerk he is. Hope he is punished suitably.

You’re calling someone else a miserable piece of shite? fricking laughable. You dipshit leftists are the biggest bunch of hypocrites on the planet. Literally everything is about your bullshite agenda and destructive ideology. Punished for thanking God? Yet you will bend over backwards for those praising Allah and worshipping a pedophile when their entire cult “religion” demands that they take over the world and eliminate all nonbelievers. Go frick yourself and get a fricking life you brainwashed retard

Isn't it wonderful that he has the right through the Constitution to express his thankfulness to God, or any entity that he chooses. And you have your right to be angry & profane in your response to a post filled with love and thankfulness. Sorry you are so filled with hatred. Good luck!

Must be an Arkansas fan. Maybe next year. Or the next. Maybe never by the way it seems to be going for you.

Mean-spirited people never "roflmao"; they're too busy being miserable, because they are failures and have nothing positive, so they wallow in their misery and try to degrade others to their level.
