We took Seabourn out of Barcelona a few years ago. Stops in Menorca, Sete, Bandol, St Tropez, Malta, Trapani, Taormina, Lipari, Amalfi and Rome. More recently out of Lisbon to Gibraltar, Motril, Cartagena, Portofino, St Tropez, Menorca and Genoa. They also have some great itineraries in Greece and Turkey

Saw Lorenzo’s yacht when I was in Genoa. $160MM cost
Why not if you have the means? I just took delivery of a 2026 M3. Goodwood Green with Tartufo leather. Won’t put many miles on it - weekend car mostly.

I helped both of my kids buy a house. I’m fortunate to be able to do so. What parent wouldn’t want to do this?

Home/rent prices in metro ATL are ridiculous. I don’t see how you can possibly save enough for a down payment when rent is where it is currently.

You can’t cook a gumbo? I like mine better than most you get in a restaurant.

Amen. And the old school pop tarts with icing that extended to the edges
Flew in from Milan and landed at 4pm. After a 10-hr flight I would’ve lost my mind if we got diverted.
Great band. Got tickets for the ATL show. Pumped about seeing April Wine also

Make sure you visit the bar at The Ivens hotel in Lisbon. Also the Time Out food hall.

Sub Spotted in Gibraltar

Was in Gibraltar Tuesday touring the WW2 tunnels and saw a sub berthed in the harbor below. Pretty cool. Found out it was no secret and the Pentagon put the info out there.
Couldn’t say, but seemed okay when I saw Megadeth at the St Bernard Parish Cultural Center in 90/91

NBC trying to stir things up. Who would’ve thunk it? Frick NBC and the major networks.

Just started my 4th cruise. All have been on Seabourn. This year we started in Lisbon and will make stops in Gibraltar, Motril, Cartagena, Menorca, St Tropez, Portofino and Genoa. The ships are smallish (450-600) passengers.

re: RIP: John Sterling

I remember listening to a broadcast and the Yankees hit back-to-back-to-back homers and Sterling’s call was “back-to-back and belly-to-belly”.

giant schnauzer

Would absolutely get another. Wait list for the litters is long, especially for the males. Recent wins at Westminster have increased demand
He is the main character in Outside Providence. Under the radar classic

We’ve had a giant schnauzer for nearly 13 years. Female, about 80#. Great dog, very athletic and smart. Isn’t a “runner” and will stay by you when off-leash. Bonus is they don’t shed.

We had a wire fox terrier and he was a menace. A digger. And a runner. If he got loose, he hauled arse.
