So you could say he’s “well spoken”?

That kind of Newcastle is long gone. Lagunitas screwed it up. Used to be my go-to summer beer

3,000+ SF 2-story plus finished basement and a pool. 3 A/C units and never had a monthly bill over $300. We did invest in new windows and it makes a significant impact.
re: How Americans are being perceived abroad these days..

Just spent a couple of weeks in Eastern Europe. Mostly pretty friendly. I did meet an older couple from the UK and the guy was adamant that Trump had been in the KKK. Also met a young couple from Stuttgart and they said that they wished they had someone like Trump who would do something about illegal immigrants.

re: Do you pay for someone to cut your yard?
Posted by DR93Berlin on 6/14/25 at 2:46 pm
Glad to see kids are still willing to work for $$. But, as long as I’m physically able to cut it, I’ll do it myself. For a season, I had someone cut it for me. Always felt they didn’t do it as good and you kind of lose touch with what’s going on in your yard and around your house.

If you have a Publix, try Hofmanns or Sahlens. Both have natural casings. My go-to brands.

I get this from Amazon. More expensive than Shin Black, but the broth is so much better. I marinate soft boiled eggs in mirin and soy and add one of those. Easy to do. Boil for 7 mins and then right into an ice bath. Peel when cooled off then into mirin/soy marinade.

Found Sarande to be a bit dirty?
Absolutely. Seems they try to keep the main strip along the water clean, but go a few blocks up and it’s sketchy/dirty

How about Delos? We are taking a ferry over from Mykonos when we get there. You’ll love Dubrovnik. Fantastic place. We are a few days into our cruise. Been to:
Dubrovnik
Kotor
Gallipoli
Sarande (not a fan)
Zakinthos
Sea day today then:
Nafplion
Piraeus
Gythion
Chania
Mykonos
Cesme
Kusadasi
Istanbul
Nvm. Wasn’t looking at a map. Mykonos/Delos not exactly close by

My favorites are Victoria, Pacifico and Carta Blanca. The latter is harder to find, but the others I can get at the convenience stores here in burbs of ATL. Los Bravos by Terrapin is also good
