I was in Alaska during the CWS that year and had been working at the start of the game and was about 30 min away from the hotel. Game is 0-0 when I finish and haul arse in the rental car to this dingy sports bar next to my hotel. We get there while wakes pitcher is warming up so I run to the bathroom watching the game on my phone while my buddy gets a table, as I start to pee I hear the “ding” and “HE HUNG ONE” and dropped my phone out of excitement and it almost went in the dang urinal. It didn’t and the good guys one. Was quite the win-win. Hell of a day to be a Tiger fan.

Yes. Used wolfram alpha during a math test and it almost got me kicked out of school. Was a stressful time haha.

Yikes. Not a good look. Dude is married with a young kid and seemingly on top of the world. Then gets arrested in a Comfort Suites hooker sting.

Don’t know who downvoted me, but there’s a big difference in incompetence and intentionally causing a crash.

Nothing in the tapes indicates intentional action that I’ve seen. She probably just sucked as a pilot because she spent a few years on Whitehouse staff not flying.

They seem to be making it harder and harder not to be. All of this BS and the father of the dindu who got shot in Cincinnati, it’s just animals supporting animals.

Met Dave Matthews and Gary Clark Jr at Denver international on separate occasions. Both were super friendly and took the time to exchange a short conversation.

Dave ended up at the gate next to mine and as I was about to board the guy behind me tapped my shoulder and pointed over to the next gate saying “someone is trying to get your attention”, ended up being Dave Matthews and he mimicked holding up a glass and said cheers. As a huge fan that moment was awesome for me.
