caught the corner ... of the batter's box maybe. This guy is prime SEC referee material.

Yea, the announcer said it catches the corner. Maybe the corner @ the drug store ??

To be fair, the announcers were more interested in hearing themselves make noise than actually following the game.

That ump repairs McDonalds' soft serve machines in his spare time.

That ump must have graduated from the Angel Hernandez Umpire Academy.

Will be a MLB umpire soon with calls like that.

El Prez with the great title; Shoutout to Angel Hernandez for volunteering to umpire some Little League games.

I guess for that ump, it's where the ball ends up...not where it crosses the plate.

Bad call but all that reaction gets you is an even bigger strike zone

Seemed to be a common theme in all games this year.

Maybe the opposite batter box is the strike zone lol

They called a strike with the Texas girl pitching in the same game that was about 2 feet outside, would like to find that clip.

You should have seen the one that was so close to being a HBP that I thought his strike call was motioning the batter to first base. The scoreboard operator put up 0-1

Yes, the call strike against Sawyer Watkins from Louisiana was in the same area, but maybe more outside. At least he was consistent on the batters outside, but he called the inside pitches a lot better. Good to see my Louisiana team win since they were undefeated and this game was winner take all and not double elimination like the tourney was supposed to be. Anyway, both teams are going to Williamsport!

Of course he calls inside pitches better. They are the only ones he can see. That idiot is set up so far inside that he cannot possibly call balls and strikes correctly. He is looking over the friggin' batter's shoulder.

It wasn’t a 3rd strike. Standing there looking back and forth and isn’t the answer either. Get back in the box and move forward.
