We got our man! Just waiting to announce at the right time. If that team is in the playoffs, it could be a while.

Stuffed Pork Chops
Crawfish Etouffee

Try Steamboat in Washington, if open
South of Opelousas in Sunset is Cafe Josephine. Awesome!
Detour East of Sunset and go to Lil Big Cup in Arnaudville. Good luck getting a table
Soileau's is so outdated. Music still playing disco from the 80's and same furniture since 70-80's. I ate there a couple months ago for lunch and it was not that bad

I still can't really understand how him being a couple cars behind the accident and getting back into his lane and slowing down caused the accident. Maybe I'm missing something. Not trying to argue, but would love clarification.
Catfish, when I saw the video come out a couple days ago, I was also thinking it was not Lacy's fault. "How he could have caused that 70-90 yards behind the accident"? However, I will say this then follow up with my thoughts, if Lacy is driving the speed limit in the flow of traffic heading south, and not making passes (in a NO PASSING ZONE) at a VERY HIGH RATE OF SPEED, we WOULD NOT be talking about this because there would not have been an accident.
I drive slow and from a small town with 2 lane roads with 2-way traffic. In fact, I and someone in front of me was run off the road a few days ago because this person swerved into our side of the lane and car in front of me traveling in the same direction went off the road. By the time that car got to me, he was almost fully in my lane, so I had to get off the road completely, on an inclined shoulder and Bayou Teche is only about 35-40 yards from the road. My slow driving saved me from flipping or running into the bayou. I kept the car upright and hopped back on the road.
With this new video, this whole thing started with Lacy driving too fast and passing cars in a no passing zone and driving extremely fast and reckless. With his last pass, prior to braking and getting back in his south lane, Lacy's high speed while passing a 18 wheeler and another car while in the north lane, scared the crap out of the gold pickup truck driver, who pulled off the side of the north bound lane to avoid a head on collision with Lacy's car. However, Lacy hit the breaks and pulled back in his lane.
What we cannot see if the gold truck hit the breaks fast or just pulled off the road at current speed or light breaking. What happened is that made the white car behind the gold truck pull to the left and hit the truck in the southbound lane about 3 cars in front of Lacy. I do not know if she was following too close, or not paying attention, but gold truck made a decision (like I would have made) to get off the road because a car was passing cars heading right to me.
Like I said earlier, this would not have happened if Lacy was driving the speed limit (or even exceeding it a small amount) and not passing cars in a no passing zone on a 2 way road.
Can get him for reckless driving, and something else pertaining to the crash or actually causing the crash from his reckless driving.
Not hit and run because he did not hit anyone.
However, he went through the wreck scene without stopping, putting a bullseye on him, and really a dick move, when people could be hurt and need help.
White car also at fault as they got out of their lane due to the chain reaction of the gold truck getting out the way of possible head on collision.
re: RPM ALERT: 4* QB Peyton "Pop" Houston to LSU!
Posted by Dubaitiger on 9/15/25 at 8:21 am to GMoney2600
The guy looks at least 5-6" taller than BK, so if BK is 5'9 then Houston is min. 6'2
If BK is 5'8 then Houston is around 6'1
Either way he is tall enough and still in high school and can grow a couple more inches. Whatever height he is now, hopefully he is 6'2-6'3 by Soph. year in college

Probably 80-90% onions but I use it all the time. Their plant is in my home town. Add 1 small bell pepper per container or add 1 big bell pepper per 3 Guidry's containers. Need to add minced garlic separate.

re: Kelly says analytics says to go for it on fourth down. But which analytics?
Posted by Dubaitiger on 9/3/25 at 4:32 pm to ChEgrad
Analytics my arse!
History of bonehead calls going for it on 4th down with bullshite play calls.
You need to look at a few things- timing, momentum, situation, and time left in the game. There was only 15 seconds left and the only timeout we had he used it before the stupid 4th down play call.
You kick the ball and get 3 points with momentum into halftime. Because even if you make it, you have to throw it in the endzone because if you get tackled in bounds, time runs out and you have time for 1-2 plays max.
Better to kick the FG and get 3 points before halftime.

re: if Baron brown situation happened at midfield, would it have been a fumble or incomplete?

Yep, and in this case once he crossed the plane with control, the play should've been over
Exactly...
Let me try and explain how it should be called.
A player should have to survive the ground when its a bang bang play, meaning they are stretching out to keep a foot inbounds while making the catch, actually thy could take a step but they are basically catching the ball while trying to maintain a foot inbounds, then they hit the ground immediately. That type of bang bang play, they should keep possession all the way to the ground or its an incomplete pass. However, if the ball slightly moves when hitting the ground, but it is still in their grip (hands or secured in the forearm) then it is still a catch.
The other way is not a bang bang play, like the Baron Brown catch, where he caught it, took 2-3 steps, crossed the plane with the ball totally secure and on the inside of the orange cone, took another step and fell out of bounds, with the ball slightly moving after him hitting the ground, but he still maintained possession. That play should have been over when he crossed the plane with possession!
I wanted to add that last year Kyren Lacy (May he RIP) had a catch like that where he took about 2-3 steps then went out of bounds and lost the ball when he hit the ground. The refs reviewed it and said he already had possession while making a football move or a move after the catch. Ruled a completion. That was the South Carolina game when we were making a comeback for the win. It was just under 2 minutes left and Lacy caught the ball around the 3 yard line took 2 steps in bounds, then 1-2 steps out of bounds where he was hit, then the ball came out when he hit the ground. The ref called it incomplete but the replay booth changed it to a catch.

Yes, all the hype for Clemson and Greg M. wanting them to be 1 or 2 ranked, when they kinda sucked in their last 2 openers.
2024- 34-3 loss to Georgia (SEC)
2023- 28-7 loss to Duke (ACC) did I say Duke... LOL
So, everyone is talking about LSU being terrible in its season openers, but how about Clemson the last 2 years? They were outscored 62-10
Their trend continues and ours ends!! :geauxtigers:

Yes he should!!
I went to Baku for the first time in Jan. 2004 just 4 days after LSU beat OU in the Superdome for the 2003 Natty. When I arrived my agent (from Atlanta Georgia, not neighboring Country of Georgia) brought me to a restaurant, where these people were from Colfax, La. and had a Cajun resto in the park in Baku. Be dammned, they had already returned home from the game as there was a sign entering the resto saying LSU-2004 National Champions. I was like, wow, someone else was at that game.
Anyway, after about 4-5 trips to Baku in 2004-2006, it was evident that Azerbaijan and Armenia had been in conflict for many decades. So, if Trump can stop that long arse war, then he deserves the Nobel.
