Urban Meyer is a big fan of Alabama QB Jalen Milroe and thinks he's the "Reggie Bush" of today's game...
quote:

“Right now the Reggie Bush, Percy Harvin of college football is playing quarterback at Alabama, and they’re running him,” Meyer said, via On3. “He had 130 yards rushing, 20-something carries, 25 carries, and there are a couple of clips on that videotape that he is, other than Marvin Harrison, he’s the best athlete in college football and he’s touching the ball every snap at Alabama.”

What about the guy that had 230 yds rushing on 11 carries and over 350 yds passing in the same game? What about that guy?

Milroe is obviously improving rapidly and will probably be an elite talent, top draft pick type of player by the time his career at Alabama is over.

Calling him Reggie Bush right now is ridiculous lol. He's not even the best quarterback let alone best player in his conference let alone the country.

Draft Pick:
Milroe- 5th round
Jayden Top 5 pick

That'll tell you who the better athlete and qb is

Milroe gets zero credit for his strong arm. He isn’t as accurate as many but he’s perfectly capable of throwing a bomb. He just needs to perfect his short game

I caught a couple drives on a restaurant TV of a UT game a few weeks back, no bush, but i like watching their little guy run...I think his name was sawyer? The drive ended with a very well earned TD.

And if CBK Had half a coaching brain he would have had a spy on him ALL game long. CoO WOULD have seen that.

Apparently the dementia has set in on Urban. If they had any other viable option, Millroe would be on the bench.

Urban is well known as a top evaluator of qb talent. I think I remember a couple of guys named Newton and Burrow that can attest to this.

maybe so, but I know his arse just scored 4 TDs on LSU, and was able to lead his team to victory over a top 15 team, viable option or not.... just sayin'

Didn’t this dude get benched earlier this season? Reggie Bush he is not. Urban Meyer is a fricking idiot.

He the best QB out there, give him the Heisman.

Terrible take, except that he’s right in that running backs are now playing QB. The game is stupid right now, hope it changes back.

Everyone is the next Reggie Bush when they play LSU

The SEC’s Reggie Bush is currently injuried - Brock Bowers. I’m pretty sure the guy could play tailback and return kicks if they asked him to.

One SEC QB has 684 yards rushing. Another has 297.

Which one is most Bush/Harvin like? The one with 684 doesn’t wear crimson.

how many yards did Milroe run before an LSU player entered the TV screen to tackle him?

129 of 130 yards

I agree. I'm an Alabama fan, but I think Jayden Daniels should be the Heisman frontrunner. On an average day, he's basically impossible to defend. If he's really dialed in with his passing, Daniels simply can't be stopped.

Daniels and Milroe both suck at passing the ball against a defense with DBs that can cover.
