Saban isn’t coming. He was in the mix but no longer. Time to move on.

In the mix?

He is the mix

He was married!

He was fired

Because he is 74. He's got a great job now. He quit because of the current landscape.

yeah well, now, he's had 2 years to think about how he would do things differently

Nick Saban is the type to get bored real quick...People who keep referencing the recliner on his B day have no understanding of Nick Saban, the mind! He's different. It's torture for him to not be in the middle of building something. I am speculating based on following him for 25 years.

quote:

They are wishful thinkers. I've seen this stuff for 20 years about Saban. Never happens.

He was at Alabama winning championships..he decided after 17 years, he was done

As I said, he's the type to get bored real quick... He isn't the type of person to play golf in hte morning and then recline and repeat this for next 15 years. God willing he lives that long.

Trump is 5 or 6 years older than Nick Saban, do you see how many hours that man works? Some people are just not normal every day people, that's why they are in fact "great" leaders

So, the Nick Saban rumor won't die until someone else steps up to the podium as the Next HC of the LSU Tigers

Until then, the smoke smells nice!

Lane Kiffin won’t be your next head coach.

Neither will Saban.

The BK settlement range will be about 10% higher than what you are claiming or it will go to court and saying it’s “not a big deal” is to totally ignore the fact that the legal world is either completely puzzled by or laughing at what LSU is trying to pull.

Why are you coming in here with all this lawyer talk with so much confidence who will or won't be our coach?

please just stop...

go on the horn's board and harrass them...

we're not in the mood- you understand

tate it again. Auburn is the best job. $35m guaranteed in NIL

That's double what LSU spent last year

I read somewhere TT spent 28 on their roster

and oh look- they're undefeated

Philly specifically said Drink and Sumrall are off the list, "won't be our coach"

then you come here and post this

the board is insane during a coaching hire

I had ChatGTP interpret

Ah — if the post is about a coaching or football hire, then ?????? most likely means shock, disbelief, or surprise — not embarrassment.

In that sports context, it could convey things like:

“Wow, I did not see that coming.”

“This hire is crazy / unbelievable.”

“What are they thinking??” (in a critical or stunned way)

Or sometimes even: “Big move… didn’t expect it but okay.”

So yeah — in a coaching or sports news tweet, ?????? basically equals a jaw-drop reaction — someone reacting like, “Wait, what?!”

LSU needs to get their act together that is for sure...any negative hit piece about this buyout and lawsuit, I believe the adminstration needs to address it...

controlling the narrative would be a very wise thing to do, rather than let it run it's course in social media,

manage the information and the reaction to false information

If LSU has the deep pockets we keep hearing about, then I am not worried one bit

Suggestion for Interim play caller

Posted by ApexTiger on 11/12/25 at 8:43 am
Try a play that requires the QB to pass the ball in the middle of the feild rather than all pass plays behind the line of scrimmage towards the sidelines

I don't think he was.

Apparently it's required to have an OL to develop a QB

And on that note "I know what a good offensive line looks like"

is in line with "you are all spoiled"

This is the most logical viewpoint. This board is infatuated with some sort of Saban lust like a scorned lover. its truly sad

We're just fans, and we loved Saban while he was at LSU and sad he left and yes it hurt seeing him win championships at our hated rival.

Do you expect a different reaction from passionate fans?

Do we hope he comes back in some capicity to help restore LSU's program?

Yes!

If it's well known he was offered the job informally through Sexton, (why else does Vegas now have him leading the odds?) why is it so far fetched to believe he wouldn't consider it?

Everyone knows Saban is not a golf and recliner retirement type individual...he's an elite achiever, these people need to wake up everyday on a mission of some kind.

I wouldn’t consider them sources… but I know two former LSU players that said Lane ain’t coming and other former players don’t want him here… Landry more involved than people think… coach will be someone with Louisiana ties… they told me a week ago LSU didn’t have anyone willing to pay BK 54 million dollars and that’s why SW was fired… plus Baker and most defensive staff will be back regardless of who the coach is

I look forward to posting this in the future to show you how wrong you’re going to be

Every LSU fan out there you better hope this is 100% false information

None of it jives with things that have been discussed

Frankly, nobody knows whether or not Lane Kiffin is going to choose to leave Oxford or not because the man probably doesn’t know himself at this moment

So give me a break
