Watched it last night. Very well done. Gripping and emotional from beginning to end. Thanks for the heads up about it.

Odds are a Northwesterner like Ryan Day would be the same.

So you would have passed on Nick Saban?

Saban, Kirby, Cignetti

2 of those are not like the other.

Just like Brian Kelly did.

Kelly could have crushed it here. He chose not to with lazy coaching hires and poor day to day leadership decisions. His failure was self-inflicted.
Saw it today. Big, big movie. Totally epic. I’ll definitely see it another time or two while it’s in theaters. Waiting until streaming is not the way to go with this one.
There was no pain quite like “the interception game” vs Auburn in 1994.
LSU threw six total interceptions in a 30-26 loss. LSU quarterback Jamie Howard threw five of these in the fourth quarter alone—three of which were returned for touchdowns—as Auburn erased a 23-9 deficit to win.
You can’t make this stuff up.

Brutal how?

It just doesn’t come across as professional courtesy to me. But I’m not familiar at all with scouts/coaches unwritten conduct codes. So…just brutal in my opinion.

From NOLA.com about Benge:

“It's hard to pitch when you're looking over your shoulder right when you get in the game,” a scout told The Advocate. “I don't know how Jay (Johnson) didn't know that, but if you throw one ball, and you're like, ‘Okay, I'm already going to be out for the next guy.’ I just think, as someone who played, that’s no way to pitch.”

That’s pretty brutal for a scout to say on the record.

Texas A&M. It must have been about 1973. I was a kid of about 10.

As a teenager….Champs sporting goods to check out the new leather Dr J Converse.

Our guys looked like high school boys while most of these teams had men.

You changed the channel when Cerna, Bide, Braun and Pearson came to the plate?

isnt this the dude who fought a teammate on the field after a game and got kicked off the team? lol

Half the Rant said this years team lacked passion and emotion…so….checks that box.

Because Dale Brown wasn't an all time great coach.

3rd winningest coach in SEC history doesn’t get you on list of all timers?

Behind only Rupp and Donovan.

Ahead of CM Newton, Durham, Pearl, Richardson, etc.

Multiple Sweet 16s, elite 8s, final 4s. SEC titles.

Man yall have a different measure of success

Dale Brown was an excellent motivator but not a great floor coach

That’s overblown. Dales the 3rd winningest coach in SEC history.

Indiana ultimately won the game 77-76 on a last-second shot by Bill Laimbeer.

Wait. What?

Stop pivoting

Pivoting is your main move.

And yet you’d still want both coaches fired. Heck you want coaches fired mid season that end up winning championships.
