Saw it yesterday. A24 does a really good with a lot of their projects. I enjoyed this one. Dark and nerve-wracking. You could feel the desperation of the crew to hit it big and willing to live on the edge and break rules to do it. Compelling all the way through with some fairly intense scenes. Felt like I needed to shower after- but not just because of the perversity of the subjects on the show but because the creators had their own ugliness.

It’s a pick your poison type decision with Chambliss.
You don’t want him to beat you with his feet. So we held him to 2 yards rushing.
You don’t want Lacey to run wild. We held him and the rest of OM backs to 62 total yards.
You don’t want Duece Alexander to beat you deep. He didn’t.
So TC threw to 10 guys you’ve never heard of for 300+ yards.
You can only limit him so much. He’s the best in college ball.

So all young players trying to take the steps to becoming professionals. Steps similar but with some differences. Practicing with professional guidance. Signing some sort of agreement. All ultimately turned down by the NFL. Hard to find extreme differences. One thing they all share is the fact that given the proper information in the proper timing about 5 for 5- they would have all turned all that down to remain in college.
