With this week's announcement that the Texas vs. Alabama game will be played on FOX, many are assuming the game will kick off at noon ET and 11 a.m. in Austin. So, some Longhorns fans aren't having it and have created a petition in attempt to convince FOX to schedule the game at night...

I mean, it ain't gonna work, but I get the emotion behind it. If this is their way to let it out, then so be it.

The entitlement with this bunch. I hope they don't think they are going to come in to the SEC and think they are going to call the shots like they did in the Big 12.

Hell no they ain’t! Bama will get them sanctioned if they fart in their direction

Well one of the reasons Texas and OU are coming to the SEC was to get away from Big Noon Kickoff.

They'll be basement dwellers like A&M if they even have the stones to come over.

Who cares. If u are better you’re winning no matter the time. People worry about such goofy shite. Move it to night, nobody at Bama gives a frick.

Don’t blame them. Stadium temps will probably be around 120 at game time. People in the stands will be passing out.

At 11AM, it will be much cooler than at say, 6pm. In Austin, the hottest part of the day is between 5-7pm often. That being said, there will be no shade at 11AM and that makes a big difference.

Why prolong the arse whipping. Just get it over with Texas.

TX is going to get rolled during the day or under the lights. Either way it's gonna happen.

I like how it says,”signing a petition to force FOX”. How exactly will that force them? Don’t show up? Hell, they know you’ll watch it in TV if you don’t go, so that helps FOX.

That’s how they roll in Austin. They’ll also hire some protesters.

It won’t help them to move it to night. Bama has to play in Tiger Stadium at night. They are used to that environment.

Bad move TX. Your best bet to beat Bama is in 112 degree heat.

Why do they want it at night, so the world can see them get their shite pushed in by Alabama? Texas gonna Texas.
