re: Who made the most money today? - SeanLSU on 3/31/21 at 8:21 pm
Looking at the success of LSU WRs who didn't get as much PT in college, I guarantee an NFL team will take a chance on Racey. Mid-to-late-round pick with insane upside potential and very little risk in terms of initial contract money....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Ja’Marr Chase v Kyle Pitts Combine Comparison - SeanLSU on 3/31/21 at 8:19 pm
Not sure why we're going with TE vs WR comp here. I don't think a lot of teams are looking at Pitts as a slot WR conversion. I would bet he's being eyed as a Travis Kelce TE intended to be a primary weapon from the TE position creating ridiculous mismatches with a LB or S trying to cover him. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Jacoby Stevens (Discussion) - SeanLSU on 3/31/21 at 1:43 pm
He's in that hybrid OLB/S role that some teams use very well. A defensive scheme like Seattle or even KC could use a guy like him. Interestingly, both of those examples have used former Tigers in similar roles with Adams and Mathieu. Definitely don't see him slipping to the 5th round, but who knows....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
If you’re not informed on his game at this point you’re being willfully ignorant
I'm honestly not informed on why so many here hate him, and it's not willful ignorance. I no longer live in Baton Rouge, so maybe I've missed something local? He's not a sunshine pumper, so I guess pe...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Another List. Greatest LSU Wide Receivers - SeanLSU on 3/31/21 at 12:17 pm
Recency bias doesn't mean recognizing a great 2019 squad and its players. But I don't know how you put DJ Chark ahead of Josh Reed unless you didn't see Josh play. That's recency bias. And you don't have to be "old people" to respect things that happened before 2015. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)

What did Ryan Clark do to make so many white guys angry at him? I will accept the downvotes, but can someone please explain the actual hatred toward him? I thought he was a great Tiger, had a great NFL career, enjoy watching him on ESPN ... what did I miss?...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (3)
re: Another List. Greatest LSU Wide Receivers - SeanLSU on 3/31/21 at 12:10 pm
There is some serious recency bias on this list and a bit of credit for guys due to pro careers that didn't put a lot of stats together in college. Not sure what the criteria was by the site that made the list, but it looks completely out of whack. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Ja'Marr Chase putting up 23 reps at 225 plus Updates - SeanLSU on 3/31/21 at 12:07 pm
LSU Pro Days are notorious for being faster than many others. Some of that is because we simply have faster athletes, but there is some truth to our "improved" Pro Day times. Many guys have run at the combine, then run at LSU a week or two later, only to see drastically faster times. There ar...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Will former LSU HC Les Miles ever speak to the media? - SeanLSU on 3/31/21 at 11:49 am
Not saying what he did was okay, but it's not like he assaulted anyone or raped anyone. He cheated on his wife, and he flirted with co-eds. What would he say to the media about that anyway? Probably just tell them what he already said in the past: "I like the blonde ones with the big boobs."...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
Why would Cal leave Kentucky for a stepping stone job for a mid-major conference team? UT is in Big 12, not a mid-major.
I think he was making a joke about the fact that Texas just lost their coach to a mid-major. So Texas is a stepping stone to a mid-major job....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Realistically when does LSU get closure on the will wade investigation? - SeanLSU on 3/31/21 at 11:45 am
Honestly, there is a massive uphill battle for the NCAA in this. For Wade in particular, the stuff people are talking about was not admitted as evidence in the FBI case. That means the FBI didn't/won't turn that tape over to the NCAA as actual evidence to be used against Wade. The next thing the...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Zeon Chriss - SeanLSU on 3/31/21 at 11:28 am
Both statements can be true. While Miles was our HC, we really didn't have a lot of top tier in-state QB talent. Brandon Harris was the highest rated and best-regarded QB recruit from LA during that time. Lately, we have had some really good ones. Let's hope that the current trend continues....

re: Complaining about being an 8th seed - SeanLSU on 3/31/21 at 11:15 am
UCLA played the right kind of ball against Michigan to knock them out. That was a low-scoring defensive slugfest. We tried racing them, and it was working early, but when our shooters slowed down, we didn't have the ability to get back up and keep them at our pace. UCLA got down in the mud with them...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
It's already started. .Roman Harper just said if you want to run a fast 40 time just go down to lsu.
Yeah, and I'm sure the low sea level altitude of Baton Rouge is the only reason we got guys jumping over 40 verts, too. re: Topic: Justin Jefferson as a 2 star recruit - SeanLSU on 3/29/21 at 2:40 pm
If I recall correctly, the grades didn't push his star rating down. He was super duper skinny, and a lot of the recruiting scouts felt that he wouldn't fill out much more. There were concerns about whether he would get enough playing time if he couldn't physically stay on the field due to size. What...
