He's been buying rosters forever and now that his game has been exposed, he's losing. Other schools are buying up the talent just as much now and he's not a good enough coach to deal with parity. Last year he attacked his own fans for daring to embrace the same standards he demanded just a few years prior. And now it's his former players. Yikes, just retire, man.

Breaking news: Nick Saban claims he has a heart.

On his way out. The only thing breaking his heart is others catching up to him.

It was easy when you could buy the top athletes and nobody would investigate. A lot harder when everyone can do it. Saban will never dominate again.

You could have investigated it and given your info to the proper authorities. It's odd that others schools stood by and did nothing to discover these violations and expose Bama. But..thanks!

Players have always been bought. The money I assume just got higher. Teenage Eric Dickerson drove a gold Trans-Am.

Saban-speak to call out players by proxy.

He knows with the xfer portal and NIL that he can no longer directly control his players so he's using indirect peer pressure and pretending to be the good cop.

That or hes legitimately gone soft .

Put the foot on Bama and his throat next year and he'll retire. Sweep the leg. Finish it.

Am I the only one who thought this would be about his former players committing horrible crimes?

"When former players come back to me, it hurts my heart"

Nick Saban hates his former players.

It's refreshing seeing him dumped on and having a "bad" season. He's going to hang it up soon, if not this season.

Where was his heart at when he put winning above assaulting 120lbs college girls?

Is this a reference to the way he treated Ole Miss in 2017?

Again, this is not a message meant for anyone other than his current players. What Saban is actually saying is that his current team is not playing to the standard and this is his way of calling them out.

Pre-cisely! Decrypting Saban is a lot like decrypting Democrats & the MSM. After awhile (years) of listening carefully you can start recognizing their schtick and see the forest for the trees.

Bingo, Saban has always used the media to send a message to his players or even fans. He does it at Bama and he did it at LSU. Sometimes it is subtle sometimes it is obvious but he always does it.
