Don't disagree. Arcola is almost too small to consider a town. Good people in Greenville but it is terrible overall....
re: HVAC - Financing

A dealer can offer 12 months @ 0% and they will have very little finance fees from the creditor, similar to what a credit card fee would be. When you start getting to 36 months and more at 0%, the dealer will have up to 20% + in fees from the creditor. ...

[quote]Lol, of course you have. I don’t know the positives other than it is what you say.
But the negatives are the average person doesn’t know the issue if the float switches. Thermostat goes off, it’s very easy to have a smart thermostat that sends you a message it lost power or is consistentl...
re: Additional attic venting to assist ridge vents

You can have too much ventilation, especially with power vent fans or even wind turbines. You can create a negative pressure in your home which is another set of issues to deal with. Look up negative pressure - attic ventilators. ...

I used to be strict about dogs not coming in the house for anything. If it was below freezing they would stay in the garage. I don't know why I changed, but as I got older I let them inside more and more. Now my two dogs are inside 95% of the time. I'm generally happier now than I was before, the...

My home is on a septic tank. I want to add a sink in the basement and drain it into the main 4" PVC pipe that goes directly to the septic tank. There is a clean-out that will be above the connection. My plan is to install a tee and reduce down to my sink drain. Any concerns with this connection?...
