An Alabama fan has apparently been fired for what he tweeted about the postgame scene between Crimson Tide WR Jermaine Burton and a Tennessee fan. The tweet read...
quote:

"I am glad he did it," the employee allegedly said. "Should have knocked her head off. Not supposed to be on the field anyway."'
Per Outkick, the employee has reportedly been fired...
quote:

"Kele does not stand for or tolerate offensive or hateful comments toward any group or individual. We take this issue very seriously, and as a result, Kele and this employee have parted ways," Kele Solutions tweeted.

Guy likely had his company's name on his twitter page. If you own/run a company, do you want someone condoning violence with your companies name right above the tweet? Brilliant corporate strategy there. I may not have fired him but I would be really pissed if my company was associated with some dipshit saying that. However judging by the idiocy of the tweet, this is probably not the first stupid thing he has done.

@paleo. He did not. I remember seeing the tweet. A nameless, faceless Vol fan googled his name, found where he works and tagged the employer. What he said was stupid, no doubt, but that nameless, faceless Vol fan tracked his info down to do this.

Player needs to do a little time (not much, just a warning to control himself)

But we really out here firing people over tweets?

Plenty of comments just like that from the Gumps on this site yesterday. Quite amazing that they believe running on the field justifies assault.

They’re Bama. Every scumbag thing they do is justified. The rest of us just have to understand....they don’t lose.

no need to be posting anything on Twitter, Facebook, etc. Get off that garbage. (The Rant, of course, is just fine).

When you read these kind of stories they seem to always have one thing in common. They always seem to involve Alabama fans. What is it with their fans? They can't handle winning with class and sure as hell don't handle losing with class.

This just keeps getting better. T Bob was right. Alabama fans are miserable. Either perfection or nothing but pain. On their deathbeds many years from now they won’t remember the national championships. They’ll remember losses like this. You hate to see it.

Yeah I remember sitting in Tuscaloosa watching them slaughter one of our shitty teams. The guy in front of us was giving us crap. Just told him "yeah, but losing to Miss ST last week cost you a chance at a natty" He got real sad and didn't say another word.

Yes indeed it is difficult to get bama zealots to understand something when their whole identity, self-esteem and self-worth depend on them not understanding it. It's as if they are in an ignorance coma. Jermaine Burton adds his name to the bama football Hall of Shame along with Shorty Price, Harvey Updyke, Darwin Holt, Tommy Lewis add infinitum.

No way someone should be fired for this. It’s possible he thought what I did at first. I saw the video of the other fan putting a camera in his face and I thought it was the same video from two different angles.
