In their defenses, programs like OU and Florida St should always be ranked. But those programs are cluster F’s right now…Not Bama and UGA’s fault.
That said, despite the reasons out of their control, it is indeed accurate that both UGA and Bama have had very weak schedules so far this year, relatively-speaking. UGA moreso than Bama.

LSU fans:
If you beat unranked teams and they enter the Top 25 at the end of the year you can't count that.
If you play ranked teams early and beat them, they drop out of the Top 25, you can't count that at the end of the year.

Your thread turned into an unproductive and unnecessary over-analysis of what Top25 means and timing of Top25 ….All things that don’t matter. And missing the point for anyone that focuses on “Top25.” You probably shouldn’t have even mentioned Top25 because your point obviously got lost on some, likely due to people being defensive about their team.
The bigger point is that both UGA and Bama have played relatively weak schedules through 4 weeks, which is accurate…Certainly not their fault, but nonetheless accurate. It may mean something…It may mean nothing. Only time will tell as both will certainly play plenty of tough games as the season plays out. But nonetheless, through 4 weeks, it is accurate.
