SEC secretly trying to make it all go away.
The federal suit is a disaster. SEC's last public statement was disappointment at the individual defendants... for Defending themselves from a lawsuit.

It's hilarious. The SEC wants to dismiss it, but also save face. So their most recent attempt was to ask LSU to suspend/punish Lane themselves. Then the SEC would drop the suit. LSU told them to kick rocks.
It's been played so poorly by the SEC. And by SEC I mean Sankey and that wench from Tennessee. Apparently the rest of y'all are good with being led around by the nose ring by those 2 buffoons.
Expect the case to be thrown out soon. As in laughed out of court by the judge.
