I can see both sides. I can see why she was upset because it wasn't that big of a deal. On the other hand, celebrations have gotten so out of hand that, at some point, you have to make a stand. I have more of a problem of dad jumping down from the stands because that can lead to others following him and then you have a riot on your hands.

And the bar keeps lowering and lowering. So much class. So much civility.

In the 70's, a kid in Dallas won the state 100 yd dash and a released a little parachute out of the back of his shorts as he crossed the finish line.
