He may have players miss due to unexpected injuries no one else has witnessed "a foot" or "a knee" (which happens to be accompanied by fever and loss of sense of taste and smell)... but never "a covid".

I don't think anyone is being forced to take the vaccine, just if your team can't field enough players due to COVID you'll have to forfeit. Best way to avoid that is to get vaccinated. If you're worried about the long-term impacts of the vaccine, you need to balance that against the unknown long-term impacts of having contracted COVID.

It is a fact that "vaccine" does NOT keep anyone from contracting China Virus so getting vaccinated is simply NOT the best way to "avoid" something that we know is harmless to the players. It is an experimental shot at best. It's amazing that you can say "if you're worried about long term impacts" when you know no studies have been done to determine its safety. It is a sham and will remain a sham.

CD, I'm as far to the right as they come. You're a big boy, if you want to take the shot (or not), do it (or not)...I don't care. Same for the players. The question you have to answer is, "do I trust the science, or do I trust a virus that originated in China (with all that may imply)." Both COVID and the vaccines have been around a very short period of time so no long-term studies (duh). If you have to trust Pfizer/Moderna/Johnson & Johnson, OR China, which do you choose? Remember chickenpox? If you had it as a child, your are at risk for shingles in later life, and that can have serious complications. Since we all have to decide to get vaccinated or not, it is a binary decision. If a player is uncomfortable with the vaccine, he can pass and take the risk. If there's an outbreak on his team, that could create a problem. It shouldn't be, but it's become a political question. I didn't vote for Joe Biden and will NOT be voting for him or his nominated successor in 3 years, but just because he says get vaccinated, that doesn't mean it's the wrong thing to do.

They're not required to. He's just saying that a number of schools have low vaccination rates and that may result in cancelled/forfeited games if outbreaks occur.
