While appearing on Monday's "The Dan Patrick Show", Wake Forest transfer-turned-Notre Dame QB Sam Hartman detailed the football schools that recruited him, including three coming from the SEC...
quote:

"There was quite a few. I mean you can think of any college that needed a quarterback or was in need was reaching out," Hartman said. "Florida was one. Auburn was another one. At the time, there was a little bit of Alabama. It was all strategic in my way of just knowing that it came down to the offense in place here at Notre Dame.”

Saban not getting Hartman might go down as one of his biggest screw ups.

Along with Bama telling BDJ he could come there and be the backup.

They’ll be fine. Simpson scares me a little; hope they roll with the running back instead.

LSU will not beat Alabama this season. You must be trying to make Saban looking bad. Just wait until the game being played against Alabama and you will be in denial after the game is over.

It's cool. Florida got Graham Mertz so no biggie...

Hartman is awesome. I was pissed at him for choosing Notre Dame and making them relevant.

Kelly couldn't do that when he was the HC at Notre Dame.

Wonder what Saban didn’t like about him. He seems pretty solid

Pretty sure he’s a small QB. Like even more so than Bryce Young. He’s basically Brees but without the arm strength
