We can all look back at 2019 with a smile and know that the two following years and ensuing drop off was worth it for that one magical season. What a ride it was. Coach O assembled that team and it's one for the record books. Geaux Tigers.

I hold zero ill will for the decline. That season was such a high it's not even funny. The overwhelming majority of CFB fans will never experience a ride like that. It unfortunately dulled my fandom of LSU football in a way because I know there is almost a zero chance I experience a season like that in my lifetime. Lucky to have attended the big games that year.

Yeah, when I saw them in that bus touring the country with the players and coaches all in sunshades kicking back in their seats while the bus rolled on. It was like watching a famous rock band and all on tour across the country. Lol
