Right now there's really not a path for two teams to get in. If Georgia runs the table, no one in the West would be a strong candidate for the 4th playoff spot. If Georgia were to get upset in the championship game, I don't think their strength of schedule would be good enough, couple that with Georgia fatigue and they'd be left out.

If it comes down to SEC Champ with 1 loss or SEC runner-up with 1 loss, things will get interesting. Good thing it’s 12 teams next year.

There's no question the SEC has had a dismal start, but it's absurd to make these kind of proclamations 2 weeks into the season.

If there are 2 teams from PAC, Big10/12, SEC, ACC in the playoff, so be it. If they have the wins and schedule to get into the top 8 then that's the way it is.
I will agree that the SEC losing so many OOC games is showing that it looks to be in a slump. But 2 of those losses were against top teams.

This soy milk drinking analyst would love to have a weaker playoff just so the SEC doesn't win yet another one.
