That’s a steal IMO. He dropped cause of the BS. Falcons didn’t frick up a pick. Huge win

We shoulda traded Pitts and moved up for Miller too

Nah. I think falcons hit it out of the park with the picks they had. Moving up to get miller would have been a huge misstep. James Pearce. If he can get his shot straight for next 6 months will be back. May have an NFL suspension afterwards. But it won't be long, I don't think

LOL. With all of the thugery in the NFL, you think teams were worried about a non-violent misdemeanor and a local ordinance?

He dropped because he's 5'8 and has shown a limited route tree on film. I think there's more potential to his game than what he showed at Georgia, but there is a lot to prove.

He is a play maker. With an nfl QB he should do great.

I would’ve liked to have seen them go OL given the loss of McGary.

I love Branch being a Falcon, but they have literally everything else they need except a quarterback and OL depth.

They definitely needed more explosiveness on the perimeter. I like Drake London, but he is never going to scare anyone down the field. The Falcons haven't had a real big play guy on the outside since Calvin Ridley started betting.

They also need a lot of help stopping the run.

Yep, and it shows that our best receiver was barely an NFL prospect.
Last season might have been Kirby's best season as a coach.
We won another SECC and made to the playoffs without outstanding offensive talent. And Bobo did some pretty good play calling considering what he had to work with.

Branch and Colbie were both game breakers. Gunner was throwing to him all the time when it was clutch time. The arrest definitely hurt his draft stock. Really hard to believe he was there in 3rd round. I get why NFL teams were nervous but that arrest was really minor.

For as important as the Z position is in the NFL, there are only 32 starting spots. And they usually come off the field with additional tight ends.

3rd round is pretty high unless you are a surefire probowler.

The devaluation of Z receivers in the draft does not diminish how great Branch was for us.
The UGA offense went through Branch last season.
