Coming in to Athens. I let ND have the points. I honestly have faith that Kirby had been planning (not game planning) for 3 games this season. It starts with ND. They’re undersized at the LOS. Their QB doesn’t have any WR’s that can create separation. Their running game solely rest on an O-Line that is less than stellar (semi rebuild) from a team that lost 3 quality draft picks. They’re deep on the DE position... their LB’s are pedestrian... Their CB’s are solid but young... seems like good ingredients for a 38-17 win for the Dawgs.

Usually when I’m optimistic, we get beat. When I’m dour, we do ok. So I choose to think we are at risk

I haven't seen any of their games this year, so I really don't know much about them outside of playing poorly in the playoffs last season. Also the tweets that came after the first half.

They're giving up an average of 221 on the ground. Their pass D has been ok. I'm not overly concerned.

Remember when Fromm got his first start? Against ND. In South Bend. Our fans took over that stadium & embarrassed ND with their faithlessness.

And now they’re coming to our house. Our house.

Hope they bring

I honestly just hope we show them the same hospitality they showed us in South Bend because they were by far the most friendly and accommodating away game fans I've ever experienced.

Nope. The CMR PTSD runs deep.

I'm not sure you can give much weight to that stat after two games. I watched the Louisville game and the UL quarterback Jawon Pass ran and scrambled effectively early in the game. Also ran a few option toss plays. When a qb does that, it forces the defense to accommodate and gives the RB's an advantage. I didn't watch the New Mexico game, but it was a blowout.

We may run it down their throat, but ND's two games don't tell the whole story.

The older alumni/fans were definitely the most friendly I've ever encountered, but the ND students were another animal. They were some pretentious douchelords.

Texas wasn't world beaters last season and we laid an egg to them. I hope Kirby has the team ready for a four quarter game. The heat, our crowd, and our depth have to have an effect on them, but they're a good football team and anything can happen. Just ask the Georgia Inst. of Technology.

Exactly! I realize it's different circumstances, but this talk of a blowout worries me. Our talent and depth is better than Notre Dame. We should win comfortably. Should and will are often two different things.

Here's hoping the team is hitting on all cylinders.

You're implying that Tech is a good football team?

No. I am a Georgia fan. I suppress this feeling with all my powers. It takes one or two mistakes to completely turn a college football game the other direction. ND has everything in the world to play for, has a solid team, and will be riding the underdog card.

I'm thinking it'll be closer than I'd prefer until about midway through the 3rd. I expect our depth to be the buzzsaw that they can't withstand.
