Vann didn't get a TD; just a couple of big catches that put them in position to score some points. The last TD they got was set up on a long Doty to Vann pass when we had the twos and threes in on defense. The first FG they got was set up by a 61 yard pass from Doty to Vann with Speed on the coverage, IIRC.

Thank you, I wasn't sure how the play went down. I was driving at the time and had the game on the radio and had no clue what the situation looked like

In 9 games, UTk has given up 33 sacks. That's in the bottom ten or so teams in the country. Doesn't seem like a good matchup. I guess they're going to really need to get the ball away fast.
Also, on defense, UT is terrible on 1st down defense and not so hot in total defense...so despite criticisms of our offense, not sure they are in the best position for an upset.
Still, strange things can happen at Neyland.

Thought I was the only one who noticed it. Our tackling has definitely taken a hit since the early games.

The "young DBs" is a falsehood.
Ringo is no younger than campbell or stokes. Kendrick is no younger than DJ Daniel.
We have gone to zone because of the nfl. We have gone to zone because of mike leach. We have gone to zone because of Sarkisian and Monken. There are OCs that will chew up and spit out man coverage.
It is adapt or die. So far so good.

He was on Barstool's Macrodosing podcast today with teammate Tyler Baron, and he was actually cool to listen to. Was super complimentary of our defense and acknowledged how big of a challenge the Dawgs will be on Saturday. That said, I do hope we rock his shite.
Tyler wasn't overtly rude, but he kinda downplayed our offense and claimed, "we just want to run it and run it" on teams. I agree that's what we want, but we will sling it around if you try to sell out on the run.
I hope they don't respect the pass like he semi-insinuated on the pod.

That is good for dead arse last in the SEC. Our D is first in the SEC in sacking the QB. Ole Miss, whose DL isn't nearly our equal, rushed 3 all night long and got 5 sacks. We might get 8-10.
Also, UTerd's top 2 RBs went out injured against UK. If either or both can't play, that helps us too. I'll take our D against a one dimensional offense all day and twice on Saturdays.
