Actually, you're right. I should've said "lower middle class" or something. My apologies.

You're still wrong though I'm not sure what your concept of middle class is, but it's pretty skewed

According to wikipedia, lower-middle class is 35k - 70k.

A 4% tax on $35k is $1400. That is a lot of money for somebody making $35k especially if they support a family.

Personally, I've been in the 35k per year boat; I'd certainly make a point to go out and vote against Sanders over his proposed tax plan.

Again I'm not seeing where you're pulling this 4% tax from.

It was a proposed payroll tax to fund Medicare for All.

A New, 4 Percent Employee Payroll Tax

Sanders would impose another 4 percent payroll tax on employees which he calls an “income-based premium paid by employees.”

According to Sen. Sanders’ estimates, this increases taxes on American families and individuals by $3.9 trillion.

That Bernie graphic is so full of shite.

That poorest group says they currently pay 10% income tax which is 100% bullshite, vast majority of them pay zero.

So is he bullshitting, or does he actually plan on raising taxes on the poor?

You know when the article you link begins with this

quote:

Self-avowed socialist

you might want to be careful of it's credibility.

For example the article likes to state this
quote:

According to Sen. Sanders’ estimates, this increases taxes on American families and individuals by $3.9 trillion.

when in actuality the link the article is sharing states this
quote:

Under this option, a typical family of four earning $50,000, after taking
the standard deduction, would pay a 4 percent income-based premium to fund Medicare for All –
just $844 a year – saving that family over $4,400 a year. Because of the standard deduction,
families of four making less than $29,000 a year would not pay this premium

Bernie Sanders literally said on the debate stage, "If you're white, you don't know what it means to be poor."

I'm sorry, but that's the frickin guy you want in charge of economic policy for this country???

A guy who will take it up the arse by his own party, and turn right around and endorse the people who cheated him?

That's a leader?

Absolutely no defense on this one, I dont understand why the hell he would say this, that was a big frick up on his part.

However I don't see how it has to do with his economic policy

One of the problems I have with Bernie is that he tries to be far too nice to the establishment. He should try the Trump or Tulsi approach instead.

Although this year the DNC said in order to run you have to promise to endorse the winner which I still think Bernie should have made a fuss about

But none of this matters, Bernie is out.

So are you voting for Biden or Trump, 3rd party, or just not going to vote this cycle?

An $800,000 advance isn't excessive given Bernie's popularity.

No serving Congressman should ever benefit from outside income solely based on his popularity as a public figure. Don't care what the party.

If Bernie wants to write a book about his expertise as a carpenter, fine. He can also write all the books he wants AFTER he gets out of office.

And if there was term limits when Bernie won office in the early 90's he'd be completely irrelevant today.Hes accomplished nothing outside of public office

The candidate doesn't have to be...their handlers and staff are. Look at the undercover videos coming out about multiple members of Sanders'staff. Several caught on camera in different states proclaiming to be "anarcho-communists". Several members of Congress on the left routinely espouse positions and ideology that aligns with Marxist views and some of the pillars of communism. The proverbial veil is being lifted and some aren't even trying to hide is anymore.

Earlier post was spot on...it's become a leftists/statists/Marxists cabal against those that value a capitalist individual freedom version of America.

To take this further...how often are those estimates accurate or even miss high to our benefit? The reality is awhen analysts review results after something like this is implemented it's always way more expensive than first estimated.

Relying on heavily edited and are often very misleading isn't the best idea. All of their videos have a very hard right wing slant as well.

The idea that the left is controlled by some extreme left communist is as ine with no actual proof beiseed far right propaganda.

The Democratic Party is controlled by center left establishment which is increasingly obvious as they pump up Biden and Clinton while attacking Bernie and Tulsi

The left is controlled by the media.

Even the politicians on the left bend to the mob (which is led by the media).

I came to this conclusion after the Easter bombings in Sri Lanka. Every media outlet was reporting the bombings against "Easter worshippers". Before this, I had never heard of an Easter worshipper. Why would every news channel and every news paper have the same language? Because it was a coordinated effort to avoid reporting on Muslim bombings against Christians. It couldn't have been more deliberate and more widespread what was happening. And when politicians picked up on the language and reference the Easter worshippers, I saw the tail wagging the dog.

And and every form of media overwhelming left wing liberal progressives. So tell me, what's the difference? My perspective is the liberal progressive media takes political sides in support of liberal Democrats as much as possible. Their bias is well documented over time and now there isn't even a veil over their intent. They openly hate Trump and have been doing everything possible to destroy him.
