Enough with your revisionist history. No one believes your memory is good enough to remember specific posts from 3 years ago. The discussion was always about him as a tackle, which means you can’t even remember the overall discussion well.

But your pants are on fire

How did this story garner 8 pages?
Posted on 8/16/19 at 8:49 am to Rex Feral
Because she thought Catalina was NFL talent the whole time?

Sounds like an awesome deal. $1M and no wear and tear on the body.

Even more idiots... they refuse to listen to the Rant brain trust....
According to a report by Jourdan Rodrigue at the Athletic, the Panthers have signed former Redskins guard Tyler Catalina.
Catalina (6-foot-6, 314 pounds) played three years of college football at Rhode Island before finishing at the University of Georgia. He went undrafted and was picked up by Washington on May of 2017.
Catalina played seven games that season and started two. He spent last year on the injured reserve list due to a torn labrum.
In order to make the 53-man roster, Catalina will have to outperform guys like Rishard Cook and Kitt O’Brien.
Versatility might be the key that can put him over the top – Catalina has previous experience playing left and right tackle in college.

I think they get beat up in practice every week.

Looks like Catalina is taking the spot of Norman Price on the 90 man camp roster (UDFA from 2016 out of Southern Miss who has been a practice squad player ever since) who is injured.

I know! What idiots... plus Catalina is doing this all for free since he sucks!!!! Literally anyone can make an NFL roster!!!!

Do you see the names of the people that Catalina is battling for these preseason spots?
No offense, Peter. But they are exactly on par with Tyler Catalina.
3 year practice squad player from southern miss gets hurt and Catalina gets a call at Carolina.
1 year practice squad player (tight end from Minnesota who is now playing guard) took Catalinas 90 man spot on the vikings.
Catalina got his spot on the vikings when a rookie guard from North Dakota State was let go.
Catalina lost his Washington spot to Hugh Thornton. Thornton was retired for 2 years (since 2017 when he was cut by the Falcons) with a short stint the the Alliance American Football league in 2019.
This is exactly who Catalina is and was for the Dawgs. I know that you want "the NFL" to prove a point. But it doesn't. These guys are the same calibre as Catalina and they typically toy with practice squads for 3 years until a new crop of North Dakota States with younger legs and backs beat them out.

I know! They literally will sign and pay anyone who is willing to show up! Most of these guys were like second string high school players, who also played in the band!!!

Poor peter, Catalina got cut again.
Posted on 8/30/19 at 3:56 pm to deeprig9
I know! 3 years later and they still think he can play. Idiots!!!!!!
Posted on 8/30/19 at 4:00 pm to Peter Buck
Getting cut 3 times in one offseason indicates 3 teams don’t think he can play after a close look. Wonder what the other 29 teams think of him.

How many false starts and holdings did he get called for in preseason?
