I'm not a fan, but wtf can he do without a qb? We're an absolute dumpster fire. We ran wild cat all game long because we're so bad. What should he be doing?

I'm dead serious. What can an offensive coordinator do without a QB. We run the ball 90% of the time

Everyone on this staff, for the most part, is getting the excuse that Chubb was out for the majority of the year, we lacked a competent QB, that our wide receivers are no better than Tech's (sans MM26), and that we are playing an assload of freshman.

If there are no signs of improvement next year than I feel Schotty will be on the chopping block, followed by Richt.

He hasn't done well at all, but in fairness, I don't think that UGA had any chance to be decent offensively as soon as Chubb went down. Even with him, we weren't going to be good on offense.

Incompetent QB play is a killer.

If you have to run and they know it, you need to mix it up with counters and misdirection. Find creases. We often get in an I to run, which everyone knows is a run. And the running back goes straight to the hole unless he cuts back on his own. No QB means you have to be creative. We are not showing that. The WildDawg is a gimmick not a game plan.

I think it's his job to be able to adapt when things aren't working. The playcalling has been so unbelievably vanilla up until the Kentucky game. His job is to get points on the board.

Our QBs have been underwhelming, but we didn't score a touchdown for two and a half straight games. That is unacceptable.

Change the offense to put us in the best position possible. Our QBs suck, but Lambert sucks less. Fiddling around with Bauta/Ramsey shouldn't be happening.

-Throw it to the GOT DANG tight ends. JAckson Harris may be the best big man we have on the team and he's never he gotten a look. For some reason when we do throw to the TE, we throw to the worst one we have.
-How bout some misdirection/trick plays? An end around, reverse, HB pass, something to keep the defense a little bit guessing.
-Quit running brendan douglas unless we have to. Give it to sony and keith until they can't go anymore.

This is all true, which should even further the case against Richt. How did we end up in this situation with all those "great" recruiting classes?

Hard to score a td when your wr drops a td and your Qb and Te can't connect on open passes.

They put a running QB in the game for Florida and never ran him. And then, when the running QB is not in the game, they run a ton of plays out of the WildDawg. Umm, that makes sense.

HE is in a precarious position, and the QB's aren't completely his fault, but I wish there was some more creativity in play calling.

The biggest issue, is really the offensive line, they have been awful. Of course Andrews being gone hurts, but more than that the loss of Will Friend has had the biggest impact.

We could run tight end and slot screens. We could throw quick outs and hope to break one down the sidelines. We could run outside the tackles instead of inside all the time. Play-action doesn't work if passing isn't in the play.

If the SCar game never happened this year, I *MIGHT* buy the notion that Schottenheimer isn't at least bright enough to call an intermediate/short passing game for 4Q. It really did happen, though, and wasn't a mass hallucination shared by 92,746 folks.

With that being the case, this motherfricker should be executed under the Arch for getting our hopes up about our new QB and OC.

Mood. Our QBs have been ok enough to be able to score 1-2 TDs a game with or without Chubb. Certainly no Chubb devastated the offense but the play calling has been utterly atrocious. He went the super conservative route which ain't going to get a damn thing done. Of all the coaching change talk, the one I'm most certain of is schotty
