I’ll be honest: I don’t think we win Saturday. That being said, if we do then I think there’s a certain edge that Georgia has that nobody seems to be paying any attention to.

When was the last time LSU played on a stage like MSB and the SECCG? The CFP? The national title?

When was the last time UGA did all that?

There isn’t a single player or coach on LSUs staff that has been in this position they find themselves in. It’s uncharted territory. Meanwhile, this is what 3/4 of our team has lived through for the past 2 years.

Maybe LSU comes out and doesn’t miss a beat. Wouldn’t surprise me, they’re playing at a high level and with a ton of confidence right now. But it wouldn’t surprise me either if the moment gets to them a little bit. I don’t think it will get to Georgia.

Hoping LSU comes in super cocky and we string some stops together in the first. See how they respond when getting hit in the mouth. Put Burrow in some stressful situations and see what happens.

I just have a weirdly good feeling about this game. There’s no logic or reason behind me feeling good about the game, but I’m ready to see what the Dawgs can do against LSU.

LSU looked great Saturday. However, it was in Baton Rouge and a huge revenge game for them. MSB with a majority UGA crowd will be much different animal. Our boys will come to play. Will we win? That depends on Fromm hitting passes early and not going three and out. Either way, I don't see us getting destroyed.

This^^^^

Was just about to post the same thing but I was going to state that not only put pressure on Burrow but sack him a few times and see if it shakes him up a bit. I also think if we run the ball against LSU that will keep us in the game. Just like Bama, LSU can be beat. Dawgs just gotta play some serious smash mouth football.

And Tyler, yes, this is the first time in years that LSU has been in the position of going to the Natty which may make them want to win even more but the Dawgs and the fans want it just as much if not more than LSU.

honestly, last month against bama.

I know that "on paper" it's not the same as the SECCG. But it was in tuscaloosa, against the #1 team in the country, that has been the most elite program this decade, who they haven't beaten in like 8 years. they also knew with probably 99% certainty that the winner of that game would win the west, so basically if you lose your season is over.

It may not be a playoff quarterfinal like the SECCG is but let's not act like it didn't have high stakes and a frick ton on the line.

Don't know Burrow seems pretty unflappable.I do think Kirby is gonna confuse em and throw some unexpected looks at em.

I do remember the SECCG game last year and being 14 pt underdogs to what many considered the best CFB team ever.We shook Tua up and got him off his game... hopefully we can do something similar.

Jake needs to get his shite together as well and get us conversations on 3rd down.

Big games during the year just aren’t the same as big games on a neutral field in an nfl stadium after you’ve scrapped for 12 games to get there. Yeah, the Bama game was huge for them and lends credence to why I think they still win. But they live that game against that opponent in those 2 stadiums every year. They haven’t done the full 12 rounds and shown up for the definitive matchup in 8 years.

That's why I just can't see it. Last year Fromm had the game of his life to get us in that position. If that Fromm comes out then I'd believe they had a shot but that would be such a complete and utter turnaround that I simply can't even imagine it.

I have no doubt the defense will do it's part but I have no doubt the offense will continue to sputter and put the defense back on the field frequently. I don't care how good a defense is, you give LSU as many possessions as I expect them too then they're going to score more often than not.

All this speculation and no one's asking the most important questions:

Who is LSU's backup QB, and what do we know about him?

See it like the Patriots beating the Rams or the Seahawks beating the Manning lead Broncos.

The defense made the o disappear.

His Name is Myles Brennan. He is a Junior that has only played Mop up duty.
He was Mr. Mississippi when he was recruited and holds the record for the most passing yards in HS in the state.

If he is playing something bad has happened to either UGA (mop up) or LSU (Burrow is out)

So yes it is safe to say LSU will not win if Burrow is knocked out due to injury He is the heart beat of the entire team. Georgia is to good the stage to big for a kid who has never played a meaningful snap in 3 years.

Georgia was right on the edge of being national and two in a row SEC champs (trailing like 1 minute in total game time).

I'm not worried at all about the team being hungry to get back to the CFP. LSU's win over us last season, when no one was picking them to win, might even be extra motivation.

I just hope that we have a game plan for their backup QB.

UGA can win.

But I don't doubt Orgerons ability to coach and get his players ready. They won't be cocky. They won't overlook UGA. They won't beat themselves.

UGA can win because we are good enough. But I expect LSUs best on Saturday. We have to play our best as well.

history indicates we win..2005 (i think) Shockley and Richt beat the shite out of LSU at the SECCG. Sent those corndog eating swamp rats packing by halftime. I was lucky to be there in attendance. Defense back then swarmed LSU's QB and put his arse out of the game.

As I recall, LSU was missing their starting RB due to injury in 05 which gave us an opening that we jumped all over. Need to find a similar opening like, say, a slow start or turnover due to being amped up
