For all the errors and inconsistencies and come from behind victories this year, I think winning the SEC Championship was a small miracle.

Zero. He played as well as you could hope for but they were playing for a low scoring defensive game.
He did have that fumble on that play that set them up for the first touchdown.

I agree that we had issues this year. Just trying to point out 1 out of about 100 possibilities.

Our receivers couldn’t separate or catch the ball very well. Others teams knew that and would commit to stopping the run.

Yes and no. Brock and Ladd opened up a lot for that offense. Not just the passing game. With receivers like that, you can’t stack the box which opens up the running game.

Bowers and McConkey were a big part of that offense.

And with your backup QB in his first game.

Yep defense was lights out most of the night. Turnovers killed us again. I can’t remember us turning it over as much as we did this year. I also can’t remember getting as few turnovers as we did this year.
54 seconds…

We lost that game in 54 seconds around the half. Sure there were many places where we made mistakes, but that 54 seconds in what was a defensive struggle was a back breaker.

I didn’t make it to any of the regular season games, but the prices at Mercedes Benz for the championship were very reasonable. $2 popcorn and $4 Souvenir cup with unlimited refills.

Any word on Beck’s injury? If he returns, would he even be able to play next year? Would he just use the year to rehab for the NFL draft?

If we pick up Justus Terry on Friday, it should push us up to number one.

That’s huge! That means all of our remaining games are either at home or at a neutral site. The two games we lost this year were largely because we were playing on the road.

Keep in mind, we’re doing this in their house.

When I coached high school ball we did it on quick three step drops. It was more like a quick bear crawl. The idea was to hit them in the thighs, forcing their hands down to open up slants and routes like that.

Not sure if you’re aware of the insurance situation in Florida but it’s been in really bad shape for years already.
