Well yes, and all the lies. I am from a family of lifelong Republicans so just accusing people who call Trump out as liberals is lazy and incorrect often times.
Let’s just assume he’s not compromised by Russia. But supporting a man who lies daily to the American people I will never understand.

First, Trump and his policies have been tougher on Russia than past administrations and certainly tougher than Hillary would have been. Do you think she would have been tough on them considering the millions funneled into the "foundation" by Putin's oligarch buddies.
Second, lies from your POV, maybe. Most people with common sense recognize he isn't a gifted orator, especially is press conferences, and dont take him literally.
That said I do wish he would just shut up sometimes and I really wish he would pause and think before some tweets.

What’s there to understand? He’s a politician now. Show me a politician with their lips moving and I will show you one that is lying.
Not supporting the President of your country and continuously trying to tear him down is something I will never understand.
I hated Obama politics and think he did a disservice to our country, but I still supported the fact he was our President and hoped his policies would benefit ALL Americans

Hopefully I can now stay out of this thread again.
That’s a lot of really good information. Thanks for sharing.
I was obviously off on a lot of that.

IT Dawg you lost all credibility when you proclaim over and over coronavirus is just the flu while thousands died in Italy.

Daily update (I'm tracking my own spreadsheet from GA DPH daily numbers)
4 straight days of falling or flatlined postive results (controlled as a rate of new cases as a percentage of test results released for that day).
3 straight days of a falling rate of hospitalization.
These are good numbers.
Eta- chart 2 I forgot to update the date labels on x axis, data is current and correct

I’m sorry. The total deaths from this is just now catching how many people die EACH day in the US...most people that die are old or have a preexisting condition. This is still at a death toll of 1/10th of the flu season 2 years ago. So far, they are calling it a COVID related death regardless of the cause of the actual death. Also, it’s still about half the total deaths of Swine Flu. I’m still on the bandwagon that the collapse of our economy is not worth what it’s doing. I would’ve put out the same advisory they did 2 years ago.
You are the ones thinking we shoulda enacted DPA and shut down the economy in January. You are the ones that will cause global economic collapse every time a new bug comes out moving forward. I personally couldn’t care less what people like you think about my credibility. You and DJ have fun in your butt bunker together. I’m enjoying the great outdoors at the park. And yes, I know people that have it and yes, a good friend of mine is in critical, but stable condition at the hospital right now....and I still feel the same

Well, it was not necessarily pointed at you. You and I agree on 95% of issues, whether it is football or not.
I have just been seeing a lot of finger pointing in one direction in this thread and wanted correct some misinformation. Neither group, whether conservative or liberal/progressive has a corner on virtue. Both twist and turn things making it difficult for the average person to make good, well informed decisions.
Both sides have made numerous costly mistakes in this particular crises, and both sides seem intent on exploiting this crises for political advantage.
It's a shame our country has come to this.
But, as I said...this was not aimed at you as I have found you to be one of the more level headed, reasonable people on the site. A lot more level headed and reasonable than I am most times.

Trump is a corrupt, incompetent buffoon without a single redeeming quality. He has deserved all the sh*t he gets. He's not fit to run a children's lemonade stand.

When I hear conservatives say that, I can't help but laugh. Conservatives didn't support Obama at all, and he was ten times the man Donald Trump is and infinitely less corrupt, although that's a low bar. Conservatives hated Obama, and most of them didn't hate him because of his policies.

If you will check carefully....no....if you will just browse, you will see that I said both sides are guilty. Both sides are trying to use this for political gain. I mean we can both go find quotes and videos of conservatives and/or liberal/progressives saying dumb stuff.
What would that prove? It would prove exactly what I said. That both sides are guilty. Are you denying that the left has had people misleading and distorting the truth? Are you denying that the left has been encouraging people to go out and ignore social distancing?
I am not denying that the right has been doing the same things.
What I am saying is that it does no good to try to point fingers and wag those fingers while trying to place blame while they are both guilty.

Obama was a corrupt fraud but there is no way he is as terrible and incompetent as Trump is.
On second thought, maybe Obama is just as bad. Did you see the video of Obama pretending to drink the contaminated Flint, MI water? Did you see Obama sucking up to Rick Snyder?

Shhhh... We are not to speak of this.
Even though we all know that Trump's comments about "very fine people on both sides" in Charlottesville was a dog-whistle, pure and simple.
Trump's positioning himself as a potential presidential candidate began as far back as 2011, when he began pushing the conspiracy theory that Obama was born in Kenya. (And later, that Obama is a Muslim). More great dog-whistles aimed at a particular segment of the voters.
Trump deserves everything he gets. In fact, he's been let off easy so far. He's gotten away with far more than Nixon and in Nixon's case, a third of Republicans in Congress finally had it with his corruption. But those were different times, when there were still a lot of politicians who would put country over party.
