What do you want them to do right now?

Also, multiple members of the Republican Party have said to go on and live life like normal, which is an incredibly dangerous thing. I hate defending the Democrats, because they’re so so harsh, and things like sneaking in provisions to the Stimulus bill are insane, but what do you want them to do?

FWIW, the left took this seriously way earlier than the right did.

Yall are idiots. All his "wealth" is in hotels and resorts. Guess why this is a "hoax". No peeps, no money. Thats all hes about.

Civics at all when in school? Apparently not - the House controls the $ - Pelosi and co got the bill passed, arse. Then Moscow had to get Schumer to negotiate with Manuchin to get this through (because there are a few actualy fiscally conservative Repubs still out there).

Trunp and his cronies still got 18 billion to bail out Boeing - corporate welfare asnd all (yall are too stupid to understand that that is socialism, not how capitalism works - nice job "commie").

And to close - Obama reduced the deficit, Trump brought it to a historic high. I know ya;; are "black sided", but damn -lets call "spade a spade" (see what I did there? - I doubt it._

Peace out - stay American (while you think you are just the "most American of all")

What do I expect them to do? Manage the problems in their districts instead of creating nonsense investigations. How exactly can you back that last claim up? Which meeting have you sat through in Washington where you can come to that conclusion?

Objectively not true, and there hasn't been a single day during this crisis where that has been the case. That's currently my biggest problem with the response.

Go look at the states that were last to put “shelter-in-place” orders into effect.

Or we can go look at the states that’s impacted the worse and come to a different conclusion. New York is in a panic right now because they didn’t prepare better, should I assume they didn’t take a pandemic seriously?

Until Aunt Nancy has the final say so. Everyone other than Chuck wishes she was dead yesterday, but we can’t get what we want.

That’s fine, but when you actually see the impact it’s making on US states, why would you not adjust accordingly? Kemp and DeSantis have been embarrassing (I say that as someone would have voted for Kemp).

I mean, go look through this thread. Go look on the political board. Go look at any right wing media video from a month ago playing up this virus over liberal fears. There’s so much evidence that many members of the right did not take this as seriously as they should have.

This also applies to any member of the left who tried to sneak stuff into the bill (Pelosi being the worst of them).

That remains to be seen.

I agree the lockdowns slow down the inevitable, but the inevitable is the inevitable.

Call me when it kills 56,000 (the number of flu deaths last season).

Then you can tell me I'm dumb and had my head in the sand.

Until then, goruntelldat to ya lil' boyfren

In the last 24 hours over 1,300 died in the us pandemic. We will lose over 1,000,000 lives here. The seriousness is underreported almost everywhere.

Realize that any person that dies and is found to be covid + is being counted toward that death toll, regardless of whether or not it's respiratory failure/covid that killed him. If you die in a car wreck, and the coroner finds you +, you get counted in the death toll.

And any person that dies from it and was never tested, isn’t in the toll either. Similar to how the Swine Flu numbers increased greatly years after the original virus killed people.

41% of Georgia is rural. I’m sure Kemp was hesitant to lock half the state down when the very stats you keep crowing about shows rural areas largely slightly affected. Now maybe he could have locked Atlanta down sooner but the mayor could have done it way ahead of Kemp if there was so much concern.

Wrong. People are being posthumously tested for it now, to make sure the numbers stay pumped. You haven't been keeping up with the thread.

Unless you are talking about other countries, in which case I would agree with you. I'm talking about the US.
