Georgia reports lowest number of COVID patients in a month
wonderful news!
perhaps Georgia will become a model for how to safely crank the economy back into high gear
many were concerned about "close contact" businesses like barbers, salons & body art establishments; turns out that those type places are already regulated for sanitation and hygiene safety & are no more dangerous than Walmart, Kroger or Home Depot, who knew...

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp announced Saturday that the state had the lowest number of hospitalized coronavirus patients it has seen in just over a month.
"Today marks the lowest number of COVID-19 positive patients currently hospitalized statewide (1,203) since hospitals began reporting this data on April 8th," Kemp tweeted.
"Today also marks the lowest total of ventilators in use (897 with 1,945 available). We will win this fight together!" he added.

This is false. What news source told you this?
No news source- just observations. SC DEHEC has a 14 day heat map and you can see the growth in rural areas over the last two weeks. Also, I’m hearing from people in these areas that just now know of people diagnosed. Maybe I was a little too broad but it’s definitely more prevalent now in rural areas than it was a month ago.

5,603 MLB employees tested. 0.72% positive for antibodies.

The antibody test is completely bogus.
The population at large has been consistently testing positive for actively carrying the infection between 8% and 25% for two months straight. It's not possible that only 0.72% of a 5600 person sample has antibodies.

I've been trying to explain this to my mom and other people for at least two months now. Your average shitty diner maybe isn't super clean. But most restaurants keep higher standards than any other place. Barbers and tattoo ppl same.

There is also different sensitivities on antibody testing that complicate whether someone really had it or not.

All just a vast conspiracy! Bill Gates! Sand Ions!

There is nothing political in saying Trump has been a massive Covid failure as our nation's leader.

There is nothing incorrect with saying no one could have handled the situation to your liking.

You can’t argue with the Doomers about COVID-19. They will go above and beyond to dispel any positive news and spin any negative news due to Trump himself.
I think it’s a bit concerning that this many folks are loving watching small businesses close down and the economy come to a screeching halt.
The same folks will tell you how precious each life saved from COVID is while being pro-choice.

quote:Nonsense. This retarded fricking loon would be smoking Obama's pole up and down this forum even if 500k Americans died, while praising him for shutting down travel a month later than Trump, and all while Obama was bowing down and sucking the WHO's and China's dicks.
There is nothing incorrect with saying no one could have handled the situation to your liking.

I hadn't noticed anyone who seems to be loving what's going on.

80,000 dead. In 90 days. Just the flu.

80,000 dead. In 90 days. Just the flu.
Hospitals and municipalities are getting paid more money from the federal government the more COVID deaths they have, and you think they’re being honest and accurate? Are you really this naive?
A 95 year old dies in a nursing home or hospice, tests positive for COVID, it’s classified a COVID death.
A 400 lb fatass has a heart attack, dies at the hospital an hour later, tests positive, considered a COVID death.
A homeless guy with rotting teeth who shits blood daily and is sleeping in rat feces is found dead in his cardboard box alley home, tests positive, considered COVID death.
A lady gets in a serious car accident, suffering brain trauma and other serious injuries, gets multiple surgeries over 2 weeks at the hospital, eventually dies, tests positive, considered COVID death.
And on top of this, the flu has a vaccine and known treatments and remedies. And yet 50k-60k still die from it on average annually.
How many would die without that vaccine and remedies? And how many would die of COVID if we had a vaccine and proven remedies?
But you go on with whatever partisan doomer point it was you were trying to make. You sounded like you were proud of a gotcha moment and I don’t want to burst your bubble and good feels.

Some bars have reopened here in Jacksonville. I went to one of them Saturday night. Lot of people there having a good time, just enjoying themselves. It was nice to see people not cowered in fear.
