I can't remember who, but several years ago, UGA had a couple of top players get into trouble with a BB gun.
Ridiculous. The punishment is worse than putting your eye out.

Campus is just an entirely different animal with all the "gotcha" rules they can pull out whenever they feel like it.
UGA Admin, campus police, and ACCPD all LOVE running students through the ringer with bullshite. You would think someone with a brain and soul would look at the situation and realize it's just a young, dumb, and immature kid. Just make him pay for any damages that might have occurred and go on with your day.

I think the problem is Officer Doofy is out there giving the 2x4 to everyone's wives on the force. That's probably why they love arresting kids for dumb shite. More paperwork = less time at home watching their wife waddle around post pipe fitting.

A few articles this year have mentioned how 4-star Kamari Lassiter has really blossomed into a regular contributor and probable future All SEC player, while the 5-star [or at least more highly rated] Nyland Green has yet to show anything and has barely been on the field.

In any case, I'm sure these charges will be reduced to something appropriate, like criminal mischief or petty vandalism.
