It would have been a big surprise if he wasn't.

We get to watch him light it up vs Pitt on Thursday night at 7PM on ESPN.

DGD, hope he does well and makes a lot of money in the NFL someday.

That said..... I wonder if we make a game thread out of this one, how many cvnts will say things like "Can't believe we let this guy get away" and things of that nature.

Surprised he made it through camp with no injuries. They must not practice as hard as our dawgs.

This is a revisionist take.

He was playing through injury the first few games of the season. But when Stetson came in to cover for him, Stetson looked a lot better than 2020 Stetson. JT was perfectly fine by midseason, but Kirby stayed with the hot hand. A bunch of fans lost their simple minds. JT was benched initially because of his lat sprain, but the reason he never got back in was because Stetson was balling out. Stetson is what kept JT on the bench. All the Stet-haters said "the truth will all come out, we'll see that there were aggravated injuries that Kirby isn't telling us about". That never happened. Because it wasn't true.

I hope he does well with the Mountaineers and stays injury free.

The funny thing to me is people holding the first year Bama game against him, he was like 4-5 games into playing and had no work with the #1s in camp. He was never going to look good but did most of the 1st half.

Funny stat to me is JT never lost a game as starter for us.

His entire UGA career has been miraculous from being inserted vs arkansas with our backs against the wall to getting over the NC and Bama hump.

Best of luck to JT. As other said no surprise. Hopefully he can stay healthy and get a decent shot in the NFL.

He’ll end up throwing for 500 yds and we’ll have to hear that shite all season.

I don't think that any UGA fan on GSB is that stupid. Stetson was our MVP and champion. I want to see another 5 for 5, racking up 245 yards and 4 TDs.

In the last half of the season and the playoff games JT looked like he had a mattress under his jersey. I don't think he fully healed until late spring.

Lets not forget how his "mommy" and "daddy" overruled Kirby and team docs....
