In case you haven’t been paying attention, Stet is making a serious run at being QB2

He’s apparently been pretty impressive in training camp and the coaches are pretty high on him. Also, good chance he’ll get a lot of playing time preseason.

He’ll be a great spot behind Stafford if he could win that position.

One of several

They seem really high on him. He may not start Saturday but that could very well be an experience thing. Stet’s gonna stick around for a while imo

If he just makes it to his first real contract, he is set for life.

Bet against that man at your own peril.

We're really gonna miss the crap out of him this year. Nobody's filling those shoes anytime soon.

History will show him not winning the Heisman is a crime against the game and institution.

the more that I watch 2021/2022 highlights the more I'm impressed with his mobnility. I mean obviously it's not liek big secret or surprise or anything, but I don't think I truly appreciated watching it in real time. He's not mike vick but there were countless times wehere he would turn a sack into a gain, or heck even just a throwaway to avoid losing yardage. And of course he did hav ea ton of big runs for TDs as well.

That's something we haven't really had since 2013 prior to stetson. I'll be curious to see what kind of mobiliyt we see from Beck

Beck will be able to move the pocket fine.

Escaping pressure? Who knows. I thought JT Daniels was above average to slip the initial man to come in free. Hopefully, there is a little wiggle to Carson's tall frame.

No shite Finley, agree 100%. Losing the OU game due to realignment is prolly a blessing in disguise.

4 games to find a QB and hopefully gel as a team if we can sneak by SCe in game 3...

Rams preseason game tomorrow night 9PM and we'll get to see a drive or two from Stafford then the Stetson Bennett show.

Not really. This team would kick Oklahoma's arse. They were pretty bad last season (49-0 loss to Texas) and I don't believe Venables will ever coach a game in the SEC.

I would enjoy watching Stetson in preseason games but NFL Sunday ticket isn't worth the cost for me.

Preseason isn't on the ticket. NFL+ has preseason and you can subscribe to it for $6.99 a month and cancel anytime. Once August is over, canc it. Here's the LINK

Edit: it defaults to the annual sub. Click the Monthly link on the page.

yah, Stetson's mobility was amazing. He had a real instinct for alluding rushers and that will really serve him well in the NFL. Murray was pretty good and Shockley was good. I can't remember a guy that had as good instincts since James Jackson. Jackson just had fumblitist. I don't like that punk move he did at the parade but always rooting for him.

James could run better, but didn’t see the field like Stet. Its a unique gift.

Kirby himself said Stets mobility was a 7 and a 5-6 won’t cut it

Then he backtracked and said we had a couple that were close. Pretty much gave it away that Beck is QB1...even though that was very obvious already.

Thanks. I signed up for a free week and will pay $6.99 for another month. Tonight at 6PM I'll be watching the Rams play the Chargers. I hope Stetson plays.

Edit: make that 9PM, not 6PM.
