Why are we using this as an excuse? It's FOOTBALL. Football is played in bad weather all the time and I see QBs throw in the rain just fine every year. The rain was absolutely no excuse for missing those TD passes and it didn't rain at all after halftime.

More often than not nobody even comes close to Fromm and he has time in the pocket.

This makes his shitty play even more shameful.

Aaron Murray

This team would be ranked #1 in the country and be the favorites to win the whole thing with 2013 Aaron Murray at QB. Murray had average offensive line play and bad defenses during his entire career. Put Murray on this roster and no one would have stayed within 20 points of this team yet.

We have had a lot of misses that our receivers from the last couple of years would have pulled in.

That’s just speculation, tbh. Randy Moss isn’t pulling in that throw to Pickens or the one to Herrien yesterday.

Easy to say. Impossible to prove.

Maybe he would. Maybe not. Do people always state hypothetical situations as if they are proven facts and should be accepted as fact without being questioned?

The only thing we know for a fact is what has already happened.

Crap. Before the game the vast majority of us would have said we beat South Carolina by 2-3 TDs and stated it as a fact. You never know until it happens. Different teams give different results.

Let's wait and reserve judgment after Fields plays a real defense.

I agree he looks dynamic. I agree he's super athletic. Can he make the throws under pressure with a defense that's disguising things?

We will find out starting this week.

I actually think Fields is very good. I just don't know if he would have flourished here, in our offense with a bunch of young receivers running a new offense with a new OC.

I would just like to remind everybody that y'all were ecstatic that Chaney was gone. Was he great? Probably not. But he had a great grasp on what plays worked against certain defenses and what plays fit with the personnel we had.

But why do you think that? Fromm misses more open passes than our wrs do.

Because it affects the way people perform? Do you think every player reacts to conditions the exact same?

Bet you were one of the "fans" that rolled his yard. You helped make my point. So, obviously we should point more fingers and accuse people more, right?

Both teams are struggling right now and are showing that they befitted from an easy early schedule, though, wouldn't you say?

Fields was a pied piper. A lot of people wanted to play with him. If he had stayed our roster would have been stronger. I still think that Fromm is a good QB but predictable play calling puts too much pressure on him.

The SECCG is going to tell us a lot about the program we love.

Fromm is a good QB, but he is a mental midget. I don’t know what has him rattled, but it is clear that he is a wreck mentally, and his play on the field reflects it.

No. I was one of the biggest Murray/Bobo supporters on this site.

Let's be clear about something. I really, really like Fromm. He seems like a great dude who works his arse off and his teammates seem to genuinely love the guy. But he has been playing poorly for most of this season. I hate it for him and I know he knows he isn't playing well. I'm not going to sugarcoat it when I see bad QB play, though.

Good QBs play well in bad weather. The film from the Kentucky and A&M games will scare the hell out of NFL scouts.

This si my whole point. It's too simplistic of an observation and just a bad way to analyze things.

Good QB's play well under pressure. But Payton Manning's worst performances were in the playoffs.

Sometimes the easy answer is not always the right answer.

Manning's poor play in outdoor playoff games in bad weather is easily the biggest knock on his career, and it is legitimate.

He was very good against the Bears in the Super Bowl when it was pouring down rain and was named MVP of that game, though.

Because I remember big catches made by Hardman and Godwin, primarily. I remember how they were on the same page together more often than not. I see how receivers on the field now give up on a route and instead of trying to put themselves in a position to become a target go into a trot. I see receivers that don't keep working a route when they are covered.

Fromm has missed some open receivers. no argument there. But to say Fields would be much better is silly because nobody knows. People are merely stating their ill informed opinion as fact. (Not saying you are)

If Fields were here we would have a relatively inexperienced QB throwing to inexperienced WRs. It would be catastrophic. NOW> That is my opinion. It might not be right either, but I am willing to admit it and not state it as a fact.

Everyone loves that dude. He's a great guy we all want to be great, but a spade is a spade. Fromm has not been good at all this year other than two games. His strengths are his work ethic and his pre-snap acumen. Other than that, he doesn't have many strengths. His physical too set is limited, and he's not nearly as good going through his progressions as many think. His accuracy is questionable and perhaps it does have something to do with small hands. If that's the case, that doesn't bode well for an NFL career.

The truth is Fromm has had the benefit of great defenses, great running backs, and great offensive lines. So he hasn't had to do much other than manage the game. I do agree that if you gave Aaron Murray the team Fromm has had, I don't think anyone would beat us. He would throw more INTs but he would throw more TDs, hit more big plays, and our offense would be ridiculous. No way you could stack the line. Teams stack the line because they do not fear Fromm.
