ATHENS, Ga. — According to Georgia Football Coach Kirby Smart, University of Georgia wide receiver and former Newton High standout JJ Holloman has been dismissed from the football team after an investigation into a 2018 assault was launched earlier this month. “Jeremiah Holloman no longer represents the University of Georgia football program," Coach Kirby Smart said in a statement to The Covington News. "We expect every member of our team to uphold the highest standards and values of the University of Georgia and Georgia football. It is disappointing when this does not happen.”

1. What a shitty thing to do. No option but to kick him off the team.

Says she went to the hospital due to the injuries so there’s medical record and his brother can back up what happened as a witness

It’s not devastating for our chances but it does put pressure on Pickens, Cager, Landers, and Bush to provide a big body type for us

What’s amazing to me is that the fricking Covington News broke this before anyone had a whiff that something was amiss, nevermind the crazy amount of detail included in the story. Like the entire investigation is laid out.

Not going to lie this sucks. None of us will probably know the whole story. Having said that I have no issues with him being taken off the team. I hope Hollomon get's help. No one on the team is above discipline, especially for battery against a woman.
