Here’s the “catch” so we can just get that out of the way. There’s no debate.

No excuse for this to happen in a game of this magnitude.

First time I’ve ever seen CBS come back from the half with the in house review guy and all but apologize for the missed call!

May have not been overturned but I cannot believe that wasn’t reviewed. Honestly insane

Kirby should have called a timeout and asked for it.

Kirby could have thrown a challenge flag.

It's kind of baffling that the SEC is going to miss out on the playoffs due in small part to their review officials fricking up a pretty critical review decision.

If anyone should have been on the receiving end of some game changing calls, you would have thought it would have been us.

Listening to Unnecessary Roughness this morning and Brandon Walker nailed it....they came back like they were about to announce some serious death or something. Somber, turned it over to Gene, who spoke like he was at a crime scene.

This right here. It clearly hit the ground and Smart was even asked about it after the game. That is a play that takes away a Bama td and gives Georgia the ball at midfield. This game was won on that.

Makes me sick to my stomach seeing this picture. How bizarre this wasn't reviewed, but the obvious catch by Arian
Smith was reviewed.

No they aren't.

Of the situation on that fourth-and-four completion, Steratore said “Replay officials are no different than officials on the field. In those situations with the clock running and things moving so fast, the team coming up to snap the football a replay official has to feel in real time that there is the potential that this may be something that it doesn’t appear to be.”

Danielson then asked Steratore point blank if the replay official should have stopped play to review the completion.

“That’s my opinion,” Steratore said.

Yet again we get snakebit by a bad call (eg, off sides call). SMDH

All plays should be reviewed. And the “sticks” should all have cameras like the pylons.

They already use pylon cams on the first down markers. That's how we got last year's Brock Bowers immaculate first down footage where the ball crossed the plane of the first down while the rest of his body was out of bounds yet hovering over the ground.
