We gotta just knock off the mental mistakes and we’ll be fine. Can’t have 100 yards of penalties in a game let alone 1 half.

So would I...but we done have the OL to make up for backs without vision (White) or the ability to break a tackle (Cook)

Play is bad, but the kids have something of an excuse for that. There is no excuse if play calling is this bad. How many designed QB runs did we have? How many tunnel screens? What was the run/pass ratio with a freshman QB in a new offense with limited time to prepare?
At this point I'd rather just run the ball until we have 3rd and longer than 5 then take a shot to Pickens, and do that every single possession.

Our offense looks like the 2019 version without Fromm and Swift.

Someone needs to tell Monken that this isn't the NFL. Don't call it like you have an NFL QB when your options are a Freshman and a walk-on.
