No it hasn't. We're just gonna look like bitter fricks if we make a big deal out of it, but I don't know why some of it wasn't called. Auburn held less than that but were busted for it. I was at this game and saw a bunch of it and couldn't understand why it wasn't being called. Oh well, gotta beat tech now.

I didnt see anything in the first minute too obvious or more than what typically happens without a call in most games.

Downvote.

Holding is so subjective. There could technically be a holding call on almost every play in CFB. They chose to not call these, could have easily called them and I doubt any UF fans would have denied that it was a legit penalty. Just how the game goes.

I'm sure. I'm not blaming our loss on this but it makes you shake your head at all the missed holds on 87.

If it doesn't affect the play then don't call it but these were to the play side every time.

They got away with a lot of holds and especially on our ends. I saw a few of those in the game and couldn't beleive they were not called. It is what it is as this point, but it sucks...

Coach Richt said something like, "We could play this game another ten times and it wouldn't be like that". Some might see it as an excuse, but I can see what he meant. It would be about ten times before we got that crew again.

I saw this when posted on YouTube and mentioned on here.

It was perhaps the worst officiated CFB game I've witnessed this
link just confirmed it. Let's not forget about the missed FG and the
mystery offense PI called on us,

Hubert Owens crew (who also called the SC game) is the most incompetent
in the SEC.

Sorry,I think it's complete BS to say that there "was nothing out of the norm"
or that "it's completely subjective" to call holding or not. These were blatant
holding calls that were missed by the worst crew in the SEC

I thought it was a consensus that the Penn Wagers crew was the worst.

You won't hear it from me...no doubt Wagers has a hard on for CMR
but he doesn't approach the ineptness of Owens crew

It was pretty obvious the whole game, especially from the end zone where I was sitting. It sucks, but we also didn't adjust to the fact that they weren't calling the holds. If they aren't calling anything you have to make sure you can still contain. We didnt.

It was obvious that Georgia players had no enthusiasm for the game. The defense consistently allowed the Flarder RBs to turn the corner. No containment at all on the edges. That's what beat us. The players were at fault.
I hold the coaches at fault for not seeing this during the week and failure to motivate. But there should be no reason at all for the players not to self-motivate as well. The officials didn't beat us. The players and coaches caused the loss.

The point is the edge guys were held a good bit and on key scoring plays.

Because they were holding our OLB's and CB's all
game long.

Look,I cannot disagree with you about our lack of motivation for
this game by coaches and players alike but if you don't think the
officials played a big part in the outcome of this game than I don't
think we were watching the same game.

I'm not blaming the loss on the refs. I blame the team and coaches for not being up for this game.

I'm glad you posted this. I've kept my mouth shut, but during the game I was calmly pointing out on all of the plays that the gators were getting outside runs that the holding was blatant, obvious, and not called. It was uncanny.

Our ends were getting abused by holds all fricking game. Worst I've seen.

It's not a conspiracy, but it was bad. And even one simple call might have ended it. But they realized they were not going to get called for it and kept doing it.

Is what it is.
