I like it but I'm not sure I can go through another season of multiple moody 5 Star QBs on the roster ultimately leading to a transfer lol

I only watched some of that film, he sure puts a lot of air under the ball for a 5 star, and his running while strong didn't look world-beating. Maybe at his level he has to put air under the ball because his receivers can't catch bullets, maybe he doesn't have to razzle dazzle with his legs at that level, one cut and done. I don't know. I'm not an expert evaluator. He's the #1 dual threat QB in the class right now, so maybe I'm just ignorant.

Can't disagree with this unless he's willing to RS and it just doesn't happen these days with 5 star QB's.

2022 so there’s a lot that can happen between now and then.

If it keeps guys like Fields out of the hands of Florida and Auburn, it's worth hoarding them and dealing with the drama.

True, but fwiw Sentell and others believe this sticks barring something major like Kirby or Monken leaving the program.

It's weird that we live in a world where we have all the 5 star QBs or we're starting a walk-on.

Wont ever see the field for at least 3 years after he gets there.
Competition is good. But bookmark this. He will be the backup to Brock, which in todays world means Transfer Portal.

Am I bias yes sure. I have watched Brock for 4 years at our school.
But I have seen both play on the same field last year. Arm Strength, Size, leadership and seeing the field. Its not even close.

And if you didn't watch the Rabun vs Prince game (yes Gunner won) you will see Gunner has a ton of Maturing to do as he showed his arse multiple times.

Brock is ready made SEC QB..
as soon as JT leaves Brock will be the UGA QB for the next 3 years.

I agree with you there as well it also seemed like Brock could scramble better and had more speed

Gunner will give Vandagriff a real run for the job in ‘22. That’s of course assuming something doesn’t happen to JT this year forcing Vandagriff into the job ala Fromm-Eason in ‘17.

As it stands, having a solid guy at QB for this year and then two studs to duke it out for the job next year is as good a setup as you could ask for.

Interesting. A friend of mine who is more closely connected to high school ball and recruiting sorta felt the opposite. I asked him a little earlier and this is what he said regarding his thoughts on how the Vandagriff/Gunner situation might play out:

"hate to be negative regarding any kid.... let's just say I feel a whole lot better today"

Maybe true.. And again yes I have strong Bias (no not related just we are a small school so of course we root for our own)

This year our team was something Special and Brock was the centerpiece of it.
