Mayfield wasn't pouting during all that. He was legitimately happy for Chubb and the Browns.

My friends I am always here. I lurk the recruiting threads during calls enough so that I think the client has paid a car note just on that alone

He should spend all off season running while looking in the opposite direction. Kid has all the tools to be a stud.

If it’s true I wish him all the best. Might not have been a great fit for our offense. Frommward.

You should probably never comment about football. You don't have any of the tools.

It's called an opinion. Don't like it, move on out. It's called a message board for a reason. Remember that next time you type something on here.

He missed on important 3rd downs, which led to missed FG's, fake punts, and punts to give Bama the ball back.
Did you read that breakdown I gave in the Fromm vs. thread (I need some time on my laptop to respond some more there)? He was pressured like crazy in the 2nd half and had a couple of tipped balls, one of which was from a completely unblocked defender. Fromms options were to throw the ball away or take a sack in a few of those situations and the tips were just good defense.

Reactions like yours come from people who were reviewing the play-by-play on ESPN.com rather than the tape.

I did read it, and it was quite slanted with your Fromm bias. You either make the plays or you dont. If pressure comes your way, try do something to avoid it. Spin, side step, move forward. Thats where the dual threat trait can make a big difference. Thats how Bama burned us the last 2 years with their QB's making those plays.

The "7 in a row" 3rd down misses:

1. 3rd and 3 before the missed FG: Looked like he threw to the wrong spot. Ridley was open.

2. 3rd and 4 after the INT: He audibles into a run play that didnt work.

3. 3rd and 2 after the slide: He should have recognized the blitzter pre-snap and throw to a wide open Swift rather than the direct path of the pass rusher.

4. 3rd and 4 before the game tying Bama TD: Lots of pressure, but at least give your guy a 1 on 1 shot downfield. Instead, he threw it out of bounds.

5. 3rd and 11: Throw on target, but broken up. Maybe it was late. Coverage was there.

6. 3rd and 2 final minute: He flat out missed an open Godwin out of bounds. He had protection.

7. 3rd and 7: Nauta was wide open on the Bama 45 with the closest defender on the 32, but he throws into double coverage at the endzone.

There's articles all over DawgNation about him possibly transferring. Kid wants to go, let him go. Kirby will find another good backup QB to replace him.

This has proven a few things if true: That Fields cares nothing about the team but himself; that his head has been filled with how "great" he is and when he came up against someone better he couldn't handle the reality; and that he's a whiny little bitch.
