Probably not because joe burrow is amazing, but The odds go up. That’s the only safe assumption to make.

So now Fromm can win the big game? OP's thread is stupid.

Based on what? This statement has been on repeat all year and there has never been backed up by actual facts.

See Carolina, mizzou, and Tennessee games of 2018.

If there is any justice in the world Fields will lose his starting job mid season next year to CJ Stroud.

If he doesn’t, it will be clear that there wasn’t a real competition. We have seen Fields’ ceiling. He can hand it off to a 1st round draft pick RB, scramble away from 2 star defenses and throw to wide open receivers with a clean pocket... but put him under pressure against a team with good athletes and he folds like a cheap suit. Sure, Fields can win some games, but he clearly can’t win big ones. If he can’t even ride the back of one of the most talented College Football teams ever, how could anyone expect him to carry a team in the future?

Why don't you stop with this trolling BS narrative.

Isn’t it ironic that the number 1 troll accuser is the biggest troll on the board? Maybe peter really is Saul alinsky.

You need to up your trolling game, because it's bad. Not even you believe the nonsense you're posting, much less anyone else.

He's a Disney Dawg who can't see the forest for the trees.

What's funny is they think we care whether Fields wins or loses at OSU. What we care about is we threw away an electric, unbelievably talented QB to keep a athletically impotent game manager with small hands. That's not going to lead us where we want to go, which is a national title. That dog won't hunt anymore. Look at the QBs in the playoffs. You, I, and some others can see the difference. They can't. The painful part is we had one of them, INT or not INT.

The Fields worship on this board is a combination of trolling from non-UGA fans, childish spite, and maybe a few who actually believe he has proven greatness. He has plenty of physical talent, but needs a lot of improvement to win consistently against talented defenses (which he seldom sees in the Big 10). None of Eason, Fromm, or Fields are close to great QB's IMO, and definitely not worth the endless bickering.

Care to elaborate? Once again just spouting nonsense with no actual facts to back it up.

Carolina - Won 41-17
Fromm - 15/18 194 yds 1/1 TD/INT

Mizzou - Won 43-29
Fromm - 13/23 260 yds 3/1 TD/INT

Tennessee - Won 38-12
Fromm - 16/22 185 yds 0/0 TD/INT

Man he sucks.

I’m just glad everyone on the board can agree that Fields was over rated and can never win a big game, so we can now get back to what we do best here... breaking down Xs and Os and trying to understand football at a deeper level.

Fromm struggled early in all 3 games, and Kirby never let the backup have a shot.

How many practices did you attend and how many days have you spent as an athlete under Smart to be able to accuse him of not giving Fields or any other athlete an opportunity?

Come on man. When your starting QB wets the bed, and your backup doesn't even get a chance when the game is already lost, it's clear there was no legitimate competition.

Maybe Smart saw that Fields would choke in a game that mattered. Like he did last night.

Ohio State frankly plays no one. UT would give everyone they beat short of Wisconsin a game.

What OSU and Clemson did last night was play an sec football game where both sides had players.

Imagine how happier you would be if Fromm didn’t have more playoff wins than Fields?

I would be ecstatic if Fromm a national title and two SEC titles, but he doesn't. I'd also be a lot happier if Fields was our starting QB, because we would be a better, more dangerous team.

Not one person here regularly goes to practices, or even a single one. We all watch the games and know who plays and who doesn’t.
