I would be ecstatic if Fromm a national title and two SEC titles, but he doesn't. I'd also be a lot happier if Fields was our starting QB, because we would be a better, more dangerous team.

One of those is still possible, the other isn’t...

Your point is well taken, but neither of those is really true. We're not winning a title with Fromm. I would like to have to eat those words, but I'll believe it when I see.

What's funny is they think we care whether Fields wins or loses at OSU.

If you don't care, why all the angst in this thread?

Question. Could Fields have beaten LSU in the SECCG?

You guys just don't get the point.

Y'all have been saying and acting like if Georgia had kept Fields sunshine and roses would have followed. It simply isn't true.

So, what is the problem? Y'all have been telling us the problem is QB. Fromm should have been cut lose. If we had just promoted Fields we would have a NC now.

Now that your false narrative has been proven woefully wrong, you can't stand it.

Stop lying. No one said that.

We have said our odds would go way up with a dynamic qb.

I really don't understand this mindset. We were literally a Dom Sanders f*** up away from having a NC with Fromm.

If Fromm and the offense didn't disappear in the second half, a Sanders screwup wouldn't have matter. Of course Fromm threw that awful INT as well.

That small window passed. It would have been a minor miracle had we won a national title with a freshman game manager Qb who stunk it up in the national title game.

I've already said that we would be significantly better on offense with Fields. However, I think LSU was just better than we were. We certainly would have been more competitive with Fields. Fields would have completed the wide open TD to Robertson on the first possession.

So if Fields was our QB we would still be in the exact same situation, playing in the Sugar Bowl against Baylor with half the team sitting out the game. But no worries because according to you our offense would be prettier.

Not one person here regularly goes to practices, or even a single one. We all watch the games and know who plays and who doesn’t.

So how can you deny that he was given a fair chance to win the job when you wasn’t there to see his entire body of work? Last season he was a one read QB but this season he has clearly evolved. He didn’t get a fair chance is total nonsense.

Anyone who watched the games didn’t see a true completion that takes place on the field.

And you know this....how?

So, it is your opinion thta Fields could overcome Coley?

Seems odd. Fields had a better OC, a better supporting cast. More experienced players on offense and he played poorly, yet somehow with lesser WRs, a lesser OC he could magically do better?

Man. If Fields could have just stayed at Georgia both Georgia and OSU would have been better.

Amazing!

Fields couldn't win the big one with a better, more complete team, but he could with us!

The ability to run and throw accurate passes to open players make it a safe conclusion to reach.

He had a better team this year and couldn't win anything, but he was going to beat LSU in the SECCG and take us to the promised land with lesser talent and a lesser OC.

He must have just been hiding all that talent last year and in the playoffs this year.

Ohio State did not win one with Fields, and they had a superior OC and play calling. The difference? Ohio State was driving with time running out and Fields threw an INT with no WR in the vicinity.

Fields threw a pass to a wide open DB. Does that count?

Here’s what I believe and know. Fields is a vastly superior QB and talent to Fromm.

Based upon the championships that he has won? Fromm won a playoff game. If Fromm is the weak link to georgia (as you all have insinuated because, well...if we had Fields we would be winning right now, right?) then Fields with better WRs and a better OC should have won last night. Instead, when the chips were down he threw an INT that crushed Ohio States hopes and dreams.

Fromm has done the same. Go ahead and post their td to int ratios. Think it’s a drastic difference
