Do you follow this board?

Look. When Buck, or his people, provide insider intel.....You can take it to the bank.

I'm sure this is just like Peter Buck's Gurley return prediction. I would seriously bet against someone other than the maligned three being the starter.

This is a prediction. I do know that as of yesterday, they think they have him. Not sure if anything was signed.

Your sources should know nothing could be signed. Great job though....throw out predictions and one day, you might get a guess to stick

You have to sign all kinds of shite to play football at another school whether you walk on or get a scholarship.

Greyson could thrive next year with our running game and offensive line.

I don't think Aaron Murray would have had much better stats on last year's Virginia team.

We should have "negotiated" the crap out of Braxton miller and we wouldn't be worried about this shite right now. Miller can't believe he is going to get any PT right?

My tOSU friend tells me that Braxton won't leave because he's set for life with Buckeye boosters promising him high paying, cush jobs once his playing days are over if he stays true to OSU. I dunno.

Yes you do. You made it sound like if he were coming here, he would have already signed something. However, he obviously can't sign ANYTHING until June 23rd...but your sources should know that

His sources are still trying to figure out when Gurley is returning from suspension.

He certainly can do the paperwork and sign it.

Anything new on this?

The more I think about it, the more I like it. If he lights the world on fire, he could go pro after one season. Or he could light the world on fire for two years while Eason redshirts. Worst case is that he is unreliable and throws a lot of picks. Basically what most are expecting with Ramsey. If that happens, Eason can start as a freshman.

Georgia is recruiting him.

I think it's extremely unlikely that he would start. That said, there is no downside to bringing him in for depth.

I mentioned this in the GTP post of the same topic, but I don't think it's a matter of having 3 QBs on scholly, it's the coaches fearing that we'd ONLY have 3 QBs on scholly once the fallout of a starter being named settles. JPark is gone like Alderaan once Ramsey/Bauta comes out on top, IMO.

Reading about Richt openly admitting as much makes me feel much better about him, simply based on the QBs Richt has developed.

Do y'all want him as a starter, or just depth? I doubt he would come here to hold a clipboard though.

I think he would be depth. The guy just graduated from UVA and dealt with the reality check of losing his job. He's not likely at all to ever play professionally. I've read that his GF goes to UGA. Starting may not be the most important thing to him.

I'm also of the opinion that the QB competition is pretty well decided, and claims of indecision are mostly intended to keep the other two from packing their bags before this season.
